| Leeds pitch at times over the last 5 years wouldn’t of looked out of place with players sat on deck chairs eating 99’s and Barrie mac giving donkey rides. Sport is an absolute joke at times. If they’re that worried get them to dress up like Theo ‘Jacques Cousteau’ Fages in that divers suit he wore.

| Kr got Parcell Coote and Storton back in their squad so as much as lost players they have gained some back. I regards to Hooley my guess is a lot of teams are reluctant to release players to us as early in the season but some of the scaremongering may have also had an effect. Possibly why Shaul isn't allowed to come

| Who actually installed our pitch? I remember seeing the machinery during the work but can't recall the logos.

That’s a good 7 starting players. No doubt I expect a headline to say “depleted Hull KR missing 4/5” rather than acknowledging Trinity doing it tough as per usual.
Again though that’s quite a horrific list. Every year it seems to be with us.
That said it cannot be an excuse. The team played well last week and should probably have got the win.
The team we have is more than capable of going a step further and winning if the attitude is same of the Salford game.
I’m looking forwards to Friday and can’t wait for this one. I really hope the players can go out there and show everyone we aren’t just here to make up numbers and we are to be taken seriously.'"
There's lots of ways of looking at things aren't there. 6 of those players featured in the first 2 games and we nearly conceded 100 points! We have certainly improved in defence in the last few games, and clearly we came very close at Salford. I actually do think we have a decent(ish) squad, not as bad as some are making out.......but, the more we keep on losing, closely or not, that argument diminishes by the week. The one thing I will say is, I think the squad is a bit top heavy in certain areas and too light in others. We have 1 out and out full-back, but probably 5 players who can jump in at dummy half and they are all much of a muchness! We also can't seem to find Langi's best position, so if he goes back to centre, that would be tough on Hall if he were the one to miss out??

| Parcell and Coote will be the deciding factor, both class players. To be honest even with a fully fit squad we would struggle.

Langi’s best position is and always has been Centre. He was playing quite well at centre. I don’t think I’d play him ahead of Hall/Lyne on the basis of Salford game. With Proftpr out I’d consider playing him at 13 but then Battye has played more 13 than Langi has recent years. He might have to wait.
My team would be:
Kay
Taufua
Hall
Lyne
Kershaw
Smith
Lino
Atoni
Bowes
Whitbread
Ashurst
Hewitt
Crowther
Forbes
Eseh
Butler
Langi/Battye/Pitts - for LF
Definitely a team capable of winning

Carter's interview says we followed the guide given. It's just the guide was for a finished growth rather than new like ours.

I am afraid that as part of the Contract Sky have the ight to change games with a certain amount of given notice so we won't receive a penny from them unfortunately.

| Quote ="vastman"What loss of revenue?
Two needless pitch inspections, both passed with ease. The problem isn’t the pitch it’s the wonderful RL family.'"
The inspections weren’t “needless” it is evident that the pitch is responsible causing injuries to players and clubs have a duty of care for players as does the governing body namely the RFL.
The time conducted inspecting the pitch was necessary. Sky could still have broadcasted the game against Hull Kingston Rovers, the timeframe allowed that however I presume Sky didn’t want to broadcast this fixture due to the general condition of the Wakefield stadium regardless of the pitch .
For many years Wakefield have had issues with their ground it hasn’t been fit for purpose for many years.
It didn’t meet the criteria when the licensing grading system was introduced years ago.
Poor results, coupled with the fact that Michael Carter is leaving the club I think this season will be the last Wakefield play in the Superleague. The emergence of Leigh adds to Wakefields woes, good performances on the pitch and a man willing to put money into the club and invest in players.
Wakefield in my opinion have by pure luck for many years always dodged the bullet now unfortunately that luck has ran out.

| The pitch has improved a lot since the Huddersfield game but parts of it are still not right. Cuts and scrapes are not the worst thing that can happen on a Rugby League pitch - just ask Mose Masoe - so everyone will just have to get on with it.
Your team is much better than some people think and in your shoes I'd be very disappointed not to get a point from the Salford game. You were level after 80 minutes so that's a draw in my book.
Rovers without Jordan Abdull are not the same attacking threat so you have a chance in this game obviously you have plenty missing yourselves.
Either way I hope to be back at your place in Super League 2024 to try out the new stand.

Why do so many posters take it upon themselves to vilify another poster just because they say something they don’t agree with or like?
