| On Bobby's last try,. Lyne was the closest to the right touch line defending the kick. He ran past 12 players to attempt the tackle on the opposite wing on his own.
You have to ask what the others were doing.

| Miller is the problem for me. He doesn’t have any creativity in him other than a short ball to Ashurst. He’s had enough different halfback partners now.

Let's be honest Wilzay we all know the problem and it's not Miller
Take a look at Mopseys Post, he's bang on.

I'm not disagreeing particularly, but are you saying it's not Hampshire's fault in that scenario. I thought he killed the play every time.

| Pathetic second half, genuinely thought it was going to be a close game at half time. No doubt miss K Wood from dummy half but you have to question the coaches and halfbacks after that. What are they actually doing in training?

| That was nothing short of awful, we looked worse than ever. This team is much better than the garbage we have seen for the last two years and the excuses don't wash anymore Chester, sort it quickly or go.

| What an utterly predictable Chesteresqe performance, A narrow loss followed by a thumping. What's our plan when we get in the red zone? No attacking structure at all just relying on some individualism to crop up. Nothing has changed from last season I fear.

But that's no different to Hastings. He goes across too.
I do agree though that we didn't spread the ball correctly.
When the ball got to Lyne or Tupou everyone was stood on top of each other so easy to defend.
TJs try last week was created by two quick passes to the wing to give him space. If we'd done that today we'd have scored tries because in the first half Farrell was all over the place.

| I think we should start to campaign for no relegation for this season. I can’t think of a reason why relegation would be scrapped but I think it is our only hope.

| But shocked by second half display,Know it did not help T J off ,and Wigan attacked that side all second half .A good first 40 mins in defence, but the second half was shocking in all department Carrying a lot of passenger .Think it's going to be a hard season .Fifita gave100% Aroma tried hard Westerman went ok .Will get shot down but need a attacking 9 and a power forward ,Know we got Wood ,Jowitt and Battye to come back in but think to night proves how far we are of the top teams. But a stronger Wigan team than some on here make out

| Hampshire and J.Wood stank the place out tonight. Every second phase care to a sharp halt with them being indecisive.
I don’t want to see Josh Wood again at 9. He’s not a 9. Can’t create anything, no great pass selection or ability to scoot.
I’d rather see Harry Bowes there next week who is an actual hooker for gods sake. Every man and his dog in the 13 is filling in at hooker sending garbage passes out. Crowther first stint was decent though.
We have Pitts and Ashurst who can’t break a tackle between them or run any decent lines these days.
Green may as well not have played. For a guy his size to turn his back and wince every time he takes the ball in is awful to see.
Westerman was awesome tonight and Fifita was pretty good but the rest was not good enough.
We need a 9 desperately though. Westy is looking pretty fit atm so I’d give him a bash at second row and put walker at loose next week. Bowes on bench to offer some zip around ptb.
Kalepi looks like a shadow of the player he was last year so far.

That is absolutely correct we are too slow. Slow at the play the ball, slow to get the ball wide, slow to defend, slow to see their players dart from dummy half.

Think the control of the game from acting half is non existent , I don’t want to knock individuals but we had one run from our dummy half in 80 minutes of play.. although I thought both half backs were poor but it doesn’t help the first receiver much when you are receiving the same ball over and over again . Hopefully wood will be back but at moment would keep j wood and j crowther as far away from the play the ball as possible

| Crowther and j woods might not be the most dynamic hookers in the league but they tackle their hearts out . K woods needs to come on against a tiring defence and ,really don’t think he would have made a difference tonight in that second half as Wigan were all over us and snuffed out the little bit attack we had

We desperately needed an organising half but Lino doesn’t seem to be that after 2 games. It’s clear as day we are missing Kyle at 9 our distribution is static and amateur at best. How hard is it as a hooker to take a few steps out to draw the first defender in. One run from dummy half in 80 mins is atrocious.

| Think its maybe fair to say the player recruitment and retention over last 2 years has beennot good enough dont wantto be too harsh on the club due money restrictions but
Playershave been signed who aint good enough and we have let players go who are better than ones we have kept.using money on an extra coach doesnt help either.the thing what baffeles me most is the signing of an organising half back its clear lino isnt that

| They never looked like scoring, even when they had all the pressure. Very, very pedestrian.
It's still early days into the season and we've played two very good teams, but it's the lack of zip in attack that worries me. When Wigan started to click, even in the first half, they were doing everything at double-speed compared to us.
Lino? Still early but he needs to get a grip of the game. Surely the role of the first-receiver is to attack the line and distribute to those running good lines around him. He received it, he stayed still, and just passed to the next man in the line. Going to be Miller and Rocky again soon in the halves.

| Think any first received would struggle ,with the slowness of the play the ball .J C and Wood should be know we're near play the ball as they are far to slow to get the ball away .They can tackle but no good with ball in hand . There not helping the team at all .Even if it was a 15 yard dash with the ball

I think that's a bit unfair on Wood he definitely added some impetus to our play when he was on the field. Hard to scoot from dummy half when you're not making yards up front, which was the case by the time he came on. When we were on the front foot in the first 20/25 he was on the bench and scooting, understandably, ain't Crowther's forte is it.

| My main concern so far this year player wise are Tanginoa and Lino.
Probably take some time for Lino to bed in but the opportunity was there tonight to take the game on, but he didn’t.
We’ve needed a hooker for some time and in reality not scratched that itch.
Tanginoa had looked anonymous so far this year.
The biggest issue though in my opinion is the conditioning of the team. We just can’t cope when teams raise there intensity. I’m not sure who is doing it these days but the team look off the pace when dragged into the deep water.
