I wouldn't expect Richard Wright to say anything for at least a week, he knows if he says Cas are going to Newmarket he will be hated even more so then he already is, if he can't deliver at Glasshoughton and Cas get kicked out, he will be hated even more, in both cases he would be hounded out of the club.

Again very trusting and as a cas fan you must believe in rw as we must believe in richardson,but I never believe anything management say unless I see it with my own eyes and as yet rw has said nothing.

I think the only fair way to move in that situation would be to hold a fans forum (at somewhere say the Town Hall in Cas).
He could then give an honest account of why J32 might not be viable without council backing and put all options on the table and let the fans decide their own fate.

TBH If the shoe were on the t'other foot I'd hope we would have done something similar.

Newmarket is a viable option in the long term for both clubs IMO. I doubt it will ever be accepted by the CT fans, for them i expect it would forever be a "Wakefield ground", just as J32 would have always been a "Castleford ground" to me.

I dare say most CT fans would choose the Championship and WR over SL and Newmarket. Right??

To be fair, he has always been open and honest to me and he does get some unfair criticism at times. However, he would know that announcing we were moving to Newmarket would be suicide for the club, especially if he never consulted the fans.
