Gibson has suffered a dislocated shoulder.

Max Jowitt apparently had an excellent game again.

When Ah Van came back on the field sounded like Moore flattened him.

Moore was described by BBC Radio Merseyside as an 'Exocet Missile' into Ah Van's chest area when he came back on the field and had his first run of the ball after being sin binned for a shoulder charge on Gibson...then 'one in all in'....great team spirit!

The squad depth is now getting tested although England, Sio, Walton and Anderson to step up hopefully next week for CC.

All played with spirit but Finn's kicking was the difference again.

Shaun Wane would've been proud of that Widnes fight and spirit

Saw the highlights and it only showed Ah Vans tackle on Gibson once at normal speed. He seemed to bring Gibson's legs above the horizontal and while it didn't look too bad Gibson went down really awkwardly and he looked badly hurt. A Trin player came rushing in at Ah Van but it was too quick for me to see who it was.

All in all great to see our defence come out on top considering the injuries and moores sending off

Cheers. It wasn't clear at all on the radio because as soon as they said Moore had flown at Ah Wan, obviously looking for the big hit, it all kicked off and that seemed to take the conversation away from what happened before.

From the highlights, Ah Van lifted the legs of Gibson and he landed on his shoulder. Can't tell where Moore caught Ah Van from that clip, with it being from behind but it didn't look as bad as they made out. Then Heremaia was sent for launching punches on Moore while Moore was on his back, after the initial pushing & shoving stopped. Bring back the biff eh......
