Alverthorpe WMC concert room holds approx 300-500 i reckon.. Same venue as JD's question and answer session with a stage and good viewing access for all people. Just a thought.....

What about Cats Bar at least the club will take some cash...

I know we are all pigged off at the moment but without the release of the total story, which if what im hearing is true will never happen, what is the point of this meeting?

300-500 of the same old faces saying the same things we say on here,

basically at present the answers are;
i can afford 1k and im in
i can afford but im not in
i cant afford it

and no amount of banging fists on club tables wil change those answers, some facts might!

Any chance of having it on a sat or sun so those of us who work nights can attend?

The bar is independantly owned as its leased i believe so the club wouldnt recieve any bar takings. Also i suppose it depends on the content of the meeting as to whether the club would want it held there.

Anyway i'll tell you the new plans for the club when my old man wins the euromillions tonight

Not that im a control freak just a belief in my ideas of success... In addition my energy and enthusiasm means i would work 18 hour days to succeed. However Im sure we all believe we have the notion and desire to succeed given the opportunity...

The answer is surely July. After July everything changes, the fans trust and new board can continue to the run club in NL1 if required and if Wakefield get a SL place, then I think investment (via sponsorship or a buy out) will follow if you have another three years. If not the fans run the club in NL1 (which is very do-able) and when Newmarket gets built investment will follow as well, if they hang on and bring Wakefield back into SL in 2015 the shares you bought you might make some money on when a wealthy buyer turns up... which I also think might happen!

However, buying any shares is a gamble... their value can rise and fall!
