We had a minutes silence at our game for a valued member/fan of our club too last night that alot of us Giants fans had the pleasure of meeting over the years. Isn't it great when so many people all together can stand silent for a minute in respect of someone passing away. What annoyed me on Thursday at the Leeds v Bulls game was that everyone was quiet and stood still apart from the cameramen in the middle of the pitch walking around. Can't they just stand still for one minute?

You won't find anyone on this board who would disrespect a minutes silence and Wakefield fans would normaly be impecable in their behaviour during such times. Take Leon Walkers MINUTE silence which actually turned into something like TEN MINUTES and created the most unusual atmosphere at any sporting event I've ever attended.

The empty scrotum sack that felt compelled to shout last night was dealt with by those around him, from what I could hear.

I don't think he looked the sort who would travel to games. I think he was there on Friday just for the thought of something to do after a day on the beer. No worries about Monday.

Yeah gotta agree, that was the only dampner an otherwise excellent win, especially considering the perfect silence observed during the Hull derby for one of kr's recently deceased ex-directors. If morons like that so-called fan think breaking minute silences are so clever and hilarious, then the deluded fool is following trhe wrong sport.

most wakey fans cant stand them, alot only go to derby games cause they hate them that much.

the muppet in question was about 45 to 50 yrs old and well drunk. the wakey supporters around him quickly shut him up and gave him a dressing down, i stand down that area and did not recognise him as a regular but could not be certain.

The 'fan' was walking from the beer van with a lint I'm his hand and shouted weall hate cas scum. He was about 5 yards from me and a few real fans shouted shut up you p#%*k. Which shut him up straight away. There was a steward that was stood right behind him that did absolutely nothing. Don't they get paid to eject people like this from the ground. I felt absolutely disgusted by this so called fan wearing a Wakefield shirt. If I would have been quick enough I would have taken a photo of him and sent it to the club. This sort of behavour is not called for and people like this should be banned for life.

Today's minutes silence was impeccably observed by all in the ground.
