To cut Chester a bit of slack, in 4 or 5 weeks we could have Walker, Fifita, Arona, Green, Ashurst, King back, hopefully TJ & Tupou back to something like, and maybe we could actually start performing? But a lot of could's and maybes and if's.......

Wakefield Trinity will be a club that will have the occasional scalp and manage to hold its head above water. The club's made progress under M C and i believe just about found it's level. The supporters in general don't expect to win a grand final and hope for a good C C run and dream of a Wembley appearance.
Most clubs hope for a top 5 finish and avoid relegation, standard have fallen and when the leauge table take shape 3 /4 clubs will be left avoiding relegation.
The formular is unlikely to change so it comes down to recognising the fact and excepting what your clubs capable of. Expectations always remain high from clubs that have under performed the season before and so called experts long shots are always well away from reality.
It's all prity depressing if you take it all to seriously.

No it isn't an indication. Same as if we'd won by 50 wouldn't be either.
It's a sign we are a continued work in progress though with peaks and troughs.

Tanginoa is the best back rower the rest batchelor/ ashurst/ westerman / arona / crowther
I think king as a bit about him and could be a decent player but the trouble is they all get brought off after 20 mins even if their doing well, leave them on

I get what your saying about the club ,but MC was hinting at a good cup run in pre season and to say imo we have the best team in the modern era assembled at the club, everyone to a man would have been disappointed with what was served up last night .What I’m trying to say is we have the personnel to be more than competitive in the league, but until we get them all singing from the same hymn sheet we are going to always be the rubbing rags picking up the odd scalp .

Green is better than tangata and koppy atm. Ashurst is up there with Kelepi but for his defensive work, and Arona starts for me every game to be fair

or 3 pre season friendly's, or you can go back months, years, decades, and people do simply because its dead easy and they can.

With the lose of B J B think this team as past it's peek. Think the individual brilliance of players in the team were covering up the coaching .From what I've seen of the S L on T V it looks like it's on fast forward to the way we play

Who is signing these players is it Chester or MC because to me if that mindset doesn't change we're going to be in the same position as we've been in for the last 20 years, Signing 8 players who are just "team fillers" won't do it surely money we're paying for 3 or 4 them would have paid for a good Scrum half but the powers that be don't seem to think like that nobody seems to want to grab Trinity by the scruff of the neck & sort this out It looked like MC was doing it but yet again have fallen into the same trap as years gone by

You can't judge anything on one game. In fact, last year, you couldn't judge anything on the first thirteen! In 2015, we won the first two, and then that was it.

It's how we finish, not how we start. And if you look at last year and 2015, I'd be a little wary of a good start, as they are impossible to maintain.
