What a huge game this is going to be for both sides and it will define our season.

Having played twice already this season, with Trinity twice coming away with a single point win, there is clearly very little between the two sides and with Trinity not having won since their last meeting and Huddersfield, despite having had a couple of "W's", having lost their last 3, this game is all about the result.

Huddersfield are likely to bring their usual 2 car loads of fans and this could mean that home advantage will be the difference in what promises to be another close encounter, the third of it's kind this season.

The problem with Broughy was always going to be one of diminishing returns. It doesn’t matter how good a player you are or how determined you are at aged 35??? You have only so many good games left in you. That’s just a sad fact of life.

he wasn't playing that good for Shudds & according to hearsay he's cost quite a bit of money & then we sign Reynolds it doesn't make sense somebody needs a shake those 2 signings could have brought in a top class scrumhalf that could have been with us for quite a while

Yes it’s an important match and a win will give us breathing space, the doom and gloom nuggets who probably don’t even go to matches will hype it as must win in anticipation of coming on here if we lose. With the points difference we have at the moment over the bottom 3 teams, they have to win 3 more games than us in the last 10 matches. I think we have a couple of wins still in us.

Wakefield's remaining fixtures are very tough IMO
You have a 4 point cushion currently in your favour above both Leeds and Hull KR and a far better points difference ATM too

I saw enough in the first half against Warrington to see we can turn the corner we have players coming back but maybe too soon to be confident for a win against Huddersfield. Catalans and one of the Wigan matches we could get something, cas at home maybe. Apart from Saints and Wire with players back we could turn a few over.

The bottom 3 have to play each other so will be taken points off each other which could be good or bad for us. Win a couple a they can fight amongst themselves.

Funny how we all see players differently , Tony tea has brough down for a GB spot yet people on here would pay him with peanuts.
IMO there are plenty of players in the team besides brough who arn’t performing , some are untouchable and some get stick even though they put the effort in. Today it is a seventeen man game and unless you have most singing from the same hymn sheet your in for a tough time Brough may not be on the top of his game at present and we are struggling to break defence down, but you can hardly blame him for leaking 30 points .Its a team game and it will be a team effort that gets us back to winning ways

It’s not s must win game, that would be the game that actually gets us relegated.

However it is a must win game if we don’t want to be in the actual must win game.

I don’t, so in that sense I’ll go with it, this is as close to a must win game as you can get without it actually being one.

I’ll guarantee one thing, Hudds will be totally up for this game and frankly in recent weeks all teams seem more up for it than us. It’s not words anymore it’s deeds and as I keep saying only the players can do that, I’m just not convinced some of them have worked it out yet.
