Agree, we did it last season and the season before. Lost a few in a row and played poorly and then all of a sudden seem to play well again. Hull have done the same this season, capable of poor displays and then can turn up and beat anyone.

Tbh apart from Saints and Wire to a degree, all teams have been consistently inconsistant this season.

Yeah could well be, funnily enough that's exactly what the head coach of Salford has said recently, that too many of their players are having their head turned due to being able to talk to other Clubs.

Not that it's too much consolation but, after the previous debacle against London, we then beat Huddersfield the following week.
I know that Catalan are a far more difficult opposition than Huddersfield but, we have to hope for the same level of response.

If not, it could almost be season over in a couple of weeks time.

My bad, although it was still one hell of a turnaround in form and Catalan are not Saints.
The only downside is that we were close to full strength in those early season games and we're still plenty of bodies missing from our first choice 13/17.

Jowitt for me has been a bone of contention for as long as I can remember Even before that debacle against Warrington Trying to tackle to tackle Ryan Artkins around the shoulders. The hype around him has been unbelievable I've watched him very closely, There's no doubt his attacking ability I've always praised him for that but believe me he knows how to get out of tackling very well watch him closely every time he misses a tackle he slam his hand down as tough he's disgusted with himself he's very clever at it & it bugs the hell out of me, & don't worry Chester can see this why do you think he's always 2nd choice, If he has to play him he will but he'll never be first choice fullback I hope that answers your question

Trinity have always been the sort of club that tend to let you down when least expected but its nothing like it used to be. The last 3 to 4 seasons on the trinity scale have been fantastic and we are still making progress with 2 to 3 set backs per season.I think we now expect more Shuds used to be our bogey team maybe its coing to be London for the next couple of seasons.
Give me what we have now and hopefully build on it .

I think your comments re Jowitt's tackling are inaccurate and insulting to the player. Hampshire is very capabable at FB but it is also his attacking flair he is noted for there. I'm struggling to recall any giant defensive stints he has made?

I haven't got a problem with a player missing a tackle or making an error if the desire and commitment is there. It's the lack of enthusiasm and commitment I find hard.
