Not sure those home gates will bring the cash in, Cas and Hull at home would have been money spinners for the club, Catalans definitely not.

What will be will be. I have a feeling we might turn Saints over again at home.

The only concern that I have is that Saints, Wolves and Catalan are in cup semis on Sunday so they're unlikely to be chosen for Thursday's TV game. Possibly another poorly attended game for us at home on Thursday

Although it is good to get people through the gates for these games I can`t see more than 2 x the amount of fans outside of season ticket holders showing up that would have done at full price, resulting in the club losing out even more financially.

With my Trinity loyalty card I get an extra £2 off all purchases.

So Sky have picked two of our fixtures from the first 4 for Thursday nights. Home to Saints on 26 August. Away to Wigan 6 September.

It's also disappointing for me, it's my sixtieth and final season watching the Trin and it would have been good to have enjoyed my final 3 home matches and to have gone and enjoyed a match in the corporate entertainment area with friends sat or sun, unfortunately not to be now won't be the same watching it on Trinity tv.

I might be able to round up a couple of car loads of work colleagues to join me, supporting The Trin, straight from work here in North Yorkshire on the Friday evening too. This always pees off the couple of armchair Cas and Rhino fans we have.

I suspect that one of the play-off games will be on a Thursday...rules out Wire on a Sunday.

We could have played Les Cats on a Sunday though.

There appears to be no Sunday fixtures in the Super 8's from what I can see, are Sunday's set aside for the middle 8's?

Thursday games are a killer for me.

Yeah, looks like Super 8's are totally Thursday & Friday with Middle 8's taking the weekend.

That's Thursday, Friday (except 31st), Saturday, Sunday and Wembley Weekend Trip giving wall to wall Rugby League for the next 2 months.

Might as well get some saturation because it's a long off season.

The old cliche of "no easy games" is certainly true with those fixtures.
3 wins would be an excellent return from those fixtures and lets just see if we can make progress in the top 8.
4th spot has definitely gone and realistically 6th looks like it should be our target but, we can certainly have some impact on the other home semi finalist (Saints are already certain of one of the home semis).
