I’m expecting TJ to hit top form again in the coming summer months. Harsh thing to say after a long leg injury that he’s not back to his best. I’d certainly argue a case that the service hasn’t been putting him in the position to score try’s. When he’s been given the ball in space he has finished as well as any other winger in the league can.

I'd rather people did that than have the same argument over and over again with each other but it's a personal choice.

I often see accusations of trolling when it is simply a view that someone doesn't agree with.
The AUP is clear. State your case as you believe it and let others comment. If you post something you don't actually believe to be true just to start an argument or upset someone, then it's trolling and I can deal with that.
If I just banned everyone who's point I don't agree with we'd have a pretty small group.

Umm... I agree it does look very “trolling” like however let me defend myself. I still stand by what I said about Max, i don’t rate the lad and think we should cash in, you’re all entitled to your opinion. I take back what I said about Johnstone, i was getting a bit carried away with the $$$ on my mind. Go back a few pages when I first posted my opionion on MJ and I’ll reiterate, I think Hooley deserves a shot. There are a few lads who in a few years time could very well be where Gildart is today I cannot however see this with Jowitt.

You guys need to stop jumping the gun as many have ended up with egg on your face, just because I said what I said a few days ago doesn’t mean the meaning behind my comment on this thread cannot be justified.

You can't have a go at people for not liking your post when you do a complete reversal when you are called out. You included TJ and Crowther and only took it back when challenged on your contradicting post. Think it through before posting like that.

As for Max and Jordan I don't disagree that they won't be a Gildart in future......but we wont be selling them anywhere. If they were good enough to command a fee we wouldn't be having the conversation.
We need a squad and I don't mind either as back up. They are more than capable. If we decide other youngsters coming through are better, they just won't get a renewal.....but they have to be better.

I’m not doing a complete reversal though, I understand you have to retain young talent, talent being the key word. I’ve admitted now on several occasions, I was wrong about TJ... there’s nothing more I can say on that mate. I stand by what I said, Jowitt and Crowther should start looking for a championship deal to fall back on.

You’re right in what you’re saying, they’re at the club for a reason but I’m sure I used him as an example a few weeks back, Kyle Trout... probably a very similar skill set to Crowther (with Crowther slightly better in a defensive aspect) but it’ll end up the same in my eyes. Loan after loan and end up signing for Dewsbury or a mid table championship side, Jowitt might be able to set his sights slightly higher but not much.

The ignore button is fine but if 20 or so have 1 particular poster on ignore it should highlight a problem to the mods.
It still doesn't prevent that poster from displaying his drivel to many others.

Luke Hooley
Christian Ackroyd

I beleive we should be looking to offload young players like -

Jordan Crowther
Max Jowitt

As a great example - Chris Annakin... I like him, think he gives 110% every game and makes an impact on almost every run but 59 appearances after 7 years with the club is not good enough. Just think what we could have done with the money, even on one of the lower salaries it's still £200,000+
