Certainly looks like we will be going route 1 down the middle next season. Half back please, to make the most of it!

We were at our best last year when the props got us a roll on.
It's also good advertising for scrum half as they know they'll be protected.

Don't get me wrong I am delighted how far we have progressed since the dark days of a few months ago.

However I think he is building what looks a very lopsided squad. The tactics next season must be that we are going to 'second row em' to death.

Lets hope there are half backs and three quarters to come to get a more balanced squad.

He is 6ft6 and 16 stone, he is a utility forward able to play prop and second row - all we need now is a half.

The packs sorted for sure. A first choice halfback is now a major priority and we'll also need some cover there if we are not re-signing Goulding. We also need some cover in the three-quarters.

to be fair he is a quality young prospect as long as he keeps the right attitude, well done on another great signing.

Welcome 'Red' Really like his style, good defense and runs hard, still young and can be developed. Is easy to spot on NRL coverage, as most 'Rangers' are - so maybe stood out due to this. Was a NSW U18, drifted a bit- but hope he can get his head down and add some oomph to our 6. Certainly some size has been added to the pack, how well they'll fair lets wait and see before bigging them up, fingers well and truly crossed.
We are starting to look less and less like certainties each week.
A half back and maybe an extra bod for the backs should see us competing with our near rivals.

Let's hope he's a better proposition than our last NRL signing with a colour related name.

These signings are great but simply move us from absolute certainties for the drop to competing with a number of clubs for 12th spot. Nothing more

Too right we are in a fight and it won't be easy.

I for one got my self down over the departures, could not see no light at the end,all i saw was a melt down, but i have to say say that Ned Carter and is gang do know what they are doing, i do feel a lot better now i see players comeing in, i know we still have a lot of work to do, but i will stand at the side of you Al and support the team, thanks Ned for all you are doing and sorry for me been a bit negative with the club, well done

Don't agree with any of the above.

We were never certainties for the drop.

I don't see us as a definite bottom 4 team at all, especially if we get a decent half back or Wildie/Goulding etc come of age.

I think other than the missing HB it's a better balanced squad than the last two seasons and those got a top 8 and should have got a second.

In your reality we may be no hopers but it's not the only one and for me I don't see any problems challenging for 8th with a bit of effort, self belief and a bit of luck it's more than possible.

My wonderful wife is a redhead.
Get a couple more in and I may get her interested in supporting.... LOL.
Feeling much more optimistic.
