How are wakey's team coping ATM? how many injuries etc?

With possibly a few more out (Atkins, Hodgson, J. Monas, Morley - None of which have been comfirmed)

Were taking a few down, Always look forward to belle vue, especially with a friday night game atmosphere!

Trying hard but lacking in size, cohesion and a bit of class. Wouldn't be worried about Atkins injury with the emergence of Evans, looks one he'll of a player. Johnson Hyde veivers George mariano Dean and Morrison been our stand out performers but we need a general and some extra grunt up front. Expect wires to win this one at a bit of a canter but we'll be trying our damnedest for the full 80 which is all we can ask.

So long as we compete and the effort is there then i will be happy but i think we will struggle but you never know and we have upset the big guns in the past.

We'll get a stuffing mate, we need BJ and King back and a small miracle.

The lads are working their socks off and there is a lot of potential in the squad - right now though, we're lacking some forward power and a Brough-like general to give us some inventive last tackle options.

If Wire can perform at 50% of what they showed against Leeds, it'll be a cricket score. Hopefully though, that sniper that took out Briers at the weekend won't show up again!

I dont think the Wire side has been put under a lot of pressure as yet - like any team they will fold under pressure ... If the discipline is off, a few good ref decisons and a solid performance you never know !!

Im hoping we put on a good show and the boys dig in. A result will be hard fough against a good wire outfit.

A good start will be paramount.

I am not looking forward to this game. On current form Warrington could get a cricket score.

Don't get me wrong I am not knocking the lads effort or commitment but let's be honest here - JK's team selection is somewhat questionable and the teams tackling is woeful. Sorry but some of the tries we've conceded this season are dreadful.

Against a fit, strong and confident Wolves side I fear a severe hammering is on the cards. On Sky too which is the last thing we want.

Warrington are the team to beat in SL for me, great to watch.

Doubt I will enjoy watching them on Friday though!!

Only way to go to this game is to expect the worst - anything less would be a great result.

I think we should go and get behind our boys, cheer them for as long as their heads hold up, and cheer them more when they go down. It will be tougher for them than it is for us and I do not doubt for one second that the effort won't be there, but keeping it going when faced with the quality that Wire have will be hard.

I think we should also give great credit to the Warrington club for what they have done and what they have put together on the pitch and we should consider that we are lucky to watch this quality of side - with what's coming later this year, this may be the last time we see these sides in Wakefield for some time.

We will not be short of effort thats for sure and a good start is paramount. And if we perform to our maximum and Warrington are off their game and take us lightly then we may get away with a relatively close battling defeat. If Wire perform anything like they are capable then the gulf in class will be all too evident and keeping them under 50 will be difficult. My prediction is around the 64-10 mark.

After the debacle of the close season and those clubs nicking our players, the only positive to look forward to is the sympathy vote if Hemmings lays it on thick enough for us on Friday night.

I hope Bryan Carney is part of the commentary team because he appears to have sympathy for us however it is irrelevant to me because i will be there so fortunately i will not have to put up with the rubbish that Eddie and Stevo spout.

It will be tough, no doubt, as TRB said turn up expecting the worst but for gods sake TURN UP!

The last thing we need is Belle Vue looking like it's been annexed by the adjacent cemetery.

Let's at least look as though we are here and we are fighting, we don't want the silence that we had during the Salford game, even if it means applauding the rugby that the Warrington team play.

I know it's not easy but let's make noise and generate atmosphere it's one thing that's free and in our control!

This is just the sort of game where we can pull off a shock victory. I really hope we can, especially with it being live on Sky.

If the game goes to form though as many expect, it will only go to confirm our fears for the season.

Well put; some enthusiastic singing and chanting would lift the lads and stick forks up at both Waldorf and Statler and the RFL.

Any drummers/trumpeters out there prepared to lead us? It would also help if the PA was a) working properly and b) used to get us going. It's a poor show if we can't drown out that 'Warry-Warry-Warrington' malarkey!

Also, amongst the chav-tastic match day experience at Odsal on Sunday, I thought the fireworks that went off as the team ran out was a nice touch - any chance that Mr Glover could let off a few rockets from the top of the block of flats, whilst blasting out some rousing music?

It really is a must that the people of Wakefield turn out, more so than the Salford game.
SKY are waiting to give us some shoe, so lets show em, bring the mates from work or the pub that are just going to watch on T.V.
Hopefully Warrington will bring more than the couple of hundred brought by Salford, but its on SKY and its full price so a lot of the £10ers may be put off, so its going to be a challenge to beat the 6800 from two weeks ago.
The challenge should you chose to accept it, is to beat the attendance against Salford.
