If it's a confidence issue then it's mainly up to 1 man to sort it out.

From the outside looking in i don't think it is, i think its a lack of quallity issue.

think we have to face facts here, its a mixture of players leaving, injuries, illnesses, favourites coming towards the end of careers, AND a lack of confidence, in our better quality players.

not enough experience yet in our younger players.

4 or 5 players who are good but are never going to raise the bar to excellence

Paul Cooke not working out as yet, if he ever will.

and nothing really looking like coming in to change things.

one big player we could have handled but with morro out this is now probably our four most experienced and talented players out, or gone.

Long season to come, no one except the leaving players to blame, but the fans need a lifeline and fast or attendences will plummet.

I hope not but it could be lack of quality, confidence and effort! 3 key players are gone (or at least would be key players), all attack minded too. Confidence and morale may have been effected. Certain players maybe trying [itoo[/i hard and coming up with unforced errors (JD!!!) other players might be in the mindset that our engine has gone. We are having long periods of games were our defence is solid so it does point to attack. I find it hard to just believe we have a cr*p team, I think Obst, BJ and Cooke are more than capable of putting us through gaps. Korky, King and Moore should be smashing us up field.
I dunno. It's something that seems to pop up every season at some point in the middle.

dont wat to have a go at specific players who are still at the club but im not convinced our half back combination plus loose forward have the ability to create, say 4 tries a game, and most SL games are won by a team scoring a minimum of 4 or 5 tries, we are getting to the opponents line, but we are not getting over it.

hate to say it but this is now a far worse team creatively than when JK arrived, I admit with all parties still here it would not have been, but someone really has to sit me down and explain the brough deal to me, and how it was for the good of the club.

to keep the fans base we have now, never mind some hyperthetical future fan base, I really dont buy in to this idea that the stadium alone will rise the pheonix from the ashes, IT WONT!

It could just as easily be the thing that ends the club as saves it if we dont sort out the product on ofer to the public by the time it opens.

I have a lad that wants to play for our club even if hes not good enough that's what we have to build on

After todays score and looking over our shoulder in the league at teams that are now starting to catch us up, And with know-one at the pesent time being able to direct us around the pitch would it be fair to say are season could be over before we even get to may.

we won't make the play offs and we will do jack smit this year...went in to the season with big hope and now i can't see our next win!

We have lost the services of Newton, brough, tronc, we are also suffering a bit of an injury crisis at the minute, time for some of the money saved on the previously named trio to be spent!!!
Our season is in danger of collapsing, and money in the bank, never to be seen again is not going to get us out of it. If not let's have one of the amigos come out and state we aren't going to/haven't got any to spend.
Too many times we have sold/released players only to manage, let's see a change of tac this time, maybe we might encourage some more supporters, rather than putting all our eggs in the one basket of a shiny new stadium.

can't help but think of last season the same wigan team wasn't so high in the league , we have suffer departures but they are looking for new personal at the wrong time

I know we want one but this blinkered idead that it will keep WTRLFC afloat on its own is madness, its important but if people dont want to watch the product it will be full of bloody cobwebs in 6 months!
