I totally love the design of the new shirt, and that is why I am gutted at the standard of the neck on my kids shirts just bought for xmas. The medium youth shirt has a xlarge adult opening, and only looks anything like with a thermal or t shirt under it, and without it looks like a prop from the film boogie nights.

I dont at all blame the club, the design was done at pro star, but the neck opening is massive and looks total crap, and in my oppinion as not been scaled down in the manufaturing process from adult to kids.

This shirt unfortunatley will look shocking in the summer during hot days, and its a real shame as imho its the best design we have had in many years, and thats why I am so cheesed off.

The shirt looked very poor yesterday on every small shirt I saw, andon a lot of medium and small adult shirts too

I am more than interested to know if anyone else out there have the same oppinion as me that these shirts are simply designed wrong in the neck area, and look very poor.

Yer I know what u mean, mines a small and the necks huge!! Nice design but very poor fitting

IMO the shirts are all one size too big, the necks far too big but overall i'm happy with the quality and design.

Or i will be when i've swapped them.

I've got the correct size but the neck is too big or hangs too low on your upper body. I think it is designed for a hoodie or t-shirt /jumper underneath shame really but nice design otherwise and quality's good.

Got my son both shirts in a small a size possible - the away one fits ok , but the home looks 2 sizes too big , with both necks looking ridiculous . Just looks like cheap , shabby stuff again !
No season review to watch either - so not right impressed at the minute

I am nearly 14 stone and i could have got away with the large youth size it is laughable.xxxl would be too big for THE BIG SHOW its laughable.

This posting is not about the quality of the shirts which is fine imho, its the necks, they are not right at all. I have measured three shirts now adult and junior and the neck opening are the same, how can that be ? this is a manufacturing error, and the end result is a shirt that should come with a false hairy chest and medalion

Have the self same problem with 3 shirts for my sons, all under 10 years old.

Not sure how the kids are expected to wear them really. Even with Under Armour or the like underneath the neck hole is just too big. Looks like an error to me.

My bro got a small size, and I'm in an XS - unusually small for us both but it fits better than other shirts I've had. The neck looks good on mine to be fair, but my nephew's looks shocking; it's way too wide, as if he had to fit some gargantuan head through the opening which is not the case. He does not resemble an orange on a toothpick. Me and my bro agree it's the weakest point of the new replica kits. The quality of the shirts is good though and I'm happy with the fit and look of my own so it's not all bad news

its put me off from getting one this to be honest but I love both designs and the quality is good but not keen on the neck line, my lad like his though

Going back on topic the neck seems to be a little bigger than normal but it is some thing i can live with.

I did smart and i did not buy it. Summer i could but winter when you wear it over things i couldnt

end of the day we cock up on shirts every year !!! Typical Wakey Trin . NEw ground its what matters so we better just deal with it !

Take them back to the shop, tell them about the fault, that you want your money back and that you will purchase another when the fault has been rectified.
I'm going for my home shirt, I'll need a large so I would presume the neck whole will be fine, but I want one for little kinley, he's only 2 1/2 so if they have one to fit him but it's got a neck whole for a Klingon i won't be buying it!!!!

For once it's not Trinity's fault the fault lies entirely with Prostar, this is typical Wakey though ! however like a previous poster said if yout not happy take it back to the shop for refund / exchange. Put me off buying my daughter one for the mo.

sos is large boys which fits him across the shoulders but look like a low cut blouse where the neck is. not going to bother with the other shirt for him. as said earlier it's okay with something worn underneath. much preferred the kooga from a fit and quality aspect and they were the same price!

Yep, the neck's look crap, I very nearly didn't buy the shirt because of this when trying it on in the shop, but to be honest I never wear a shirt with nothing on underneath anyway so it's either a white t-shirt or more realistically a hoodie for me, then it looks fine!

i agree about the neck on home shirts, got two large to bring back as way too big, think they are more generous than some other makes, the neck is the prob i have on mine, had to wear t-shirt underneath to look ok, its ashame as rest of shirt and quality is great,

It is an important issue, I suppose, as they are not cheap, and how many people will choose not to buy one at all or not buy a second one because of the neck, if it looks that bad? For everyone not bought, the club are worse off.
