Quote ="The Phantom Horseman"Cozza's a steady player, won't let you down, his biggest asset is probably that he can do big minutes. He's not especially big for a middle and sensibly he tends to try to run towards gaps with ball in hand rather than overpower people. As a Fev fan he's a player I would have been happy to keep but also not one I would have wanted to have got in a bidding war over. I think Wakefield were probably in more of a position to offer him a contract matching or improving his current one, so probably a good deal for everyone concerned.
Fev have announced a bit of a clear-out of players today which is unsurprising, no fewer than 17 departures announced today, of the others leaving Wakefield might be a potential destination for the likes of Elijah Taylor for sure, perhaps Dan Smith, maybe Leilua too though he would split opinions like no other player on your books.'"
Yeah watching his highlights, just about every time he makes contact on his carries, he seems to hit the first man and then sort of spins with the tackle to keep his momentum going, only his highlights but seems to make positive yards.
I'd have snapped Taylor up a few years ago when Salford had him, there were talks that we were after him at the start of 2023 if I remember rightly, but he'll be 34 at the start of next season. Did he have injuries last year because he played 19 games? A return of Dan Smith would be the most probable imo, he'd do a decent job at Prop.
