Also a supporter of over 65 years and feeling now resigned to our fate. I feel that it is time for the people in charge who have obviously achieved a great deal in very trying circumstances to communicate with the fans, admit mistakes have been made and develop a strategy to salvage the rest of the season and also outline the way forward if relegation does come. I don’t get to see the accounts … so my comment is a little blind and general…

However… there are very few businesses that are cash rich… once taxes, wages, overheads, loan interest has been considered, not making a loss is a major goal… indeed the liquidity of many companies is measured by their asset value.

If “skint” means we are not raising enough revenues to invest in the business , and become market leaders… then I refer back to my previous diatribes.
