Now watched the whole game on Trinity TV… may I suggest a series of adverts each week showing what’s coming up and when… and I agree with Vastman that some commentary would be great.
Shame for Ollie Pratt getting an ankle injury in almost his first involvement…
But as is my new wont I have a series of positive comments to make …
1) the number of players coming through that seemingly have the ability to become first graders is very encouraging… looks like they are getting good coaching
2) Bowes is really growing as a player.. his variety and speed are excellent at times the defence had no idea what he would do
3) I really like Gaskell it’s like he’s been imported from the 1980s a real old style ball player
4) Issac Shaw, fortune permitting, will be a top player… workload attitude, running lines…and his post impact meters are a sight to behold!
5) Very impressed with Butterworth, another youngster with the makings of a top class half… speed, hands, reads the game well and handles full back well too
6) he’s not troubled the first team yet but Windrow look a very classy player…
7) like the work of numbers 15 and 18 when they came on…
finally… a Johnstone/ Murphy comparison… when they get the ball in hand, the game speeds up!
Really enjoyed the game… when Trinity settled into the match there was only one winner… despite the start!!
