Quote ="chapster"No super league club has a brand value, in fact as others have posted, neither does the sport really, reason? its not global, or national in all honesty, and theres too much competition for sponsonship at present.
hard times, and time for some realism, too many people have paid too little to watch wltrlfc, and thats right across the board, from freebies, to life members, to sponsors, and mainstream supporters
would be interesting to do an audit of who actually paid to get in on sunday at full price!
so theres an idea, make all matchday entry pay on the day and no deals??? would the hardcore buy it?'"
Not aware of there being many if any Life Members. My Life Membership (and all others as far as I was aware) was lost when Wakefield Trinity RLFC Ltd went into administration. In any event I didn't use it so and paid to watch so it was not a problem for me.
Not sure of your point about sponsors. If someone has paid to sponsor the match or match ball they are not watching for free they have paid and more than £20 per person.
