Looks like they've already made their mind up.
[iAs always, any introductions into local businesses who want to be part of a project that will change the face of Hemel Hempstead is what I am looking for.
In particular this week I am looking for an introduction into Britvic, based in Hemel Hempstead.
We can provide fantastic PR, marketing and brand awareness opportunities for local businesses. Sponsoring at Hemel Stags is similar to shaking your customers' hand and it is a great opportunity to network and interact on a personal level with local people and businesses.
Our next home game is 14th April against Gateshead Thunder. Tickets are just £12 for Adults, £6 for Concessions and £1 for kids. Come along and cheer us onto more success!
We are travelling to Wakefield Wildcats, a Super League team, in the Challenge Cup 4th Round. We can some spare tickets in the Directors Area for this game and I want to share this experience with you. If you want to come just send me an email at tom.williams@hemelstags.com.
If you are in business and have no idea about BNI and you want to do some networking in the local area just drop me an email at tom.williams@hemelstags.com and I can invite you along as a visitor.

That's the spirit, I'm sure you'll be made very welcome. Not sure why it's deemed impossible to stage it at Hemel, just because we're currently a SL side doesn't mean we expect special treatment and we'd be more than happy at Hemel. In fact I'm gutted we're not coming.
I don't think Belle Vue will do you any favours at all, it's a massive playing surface and that will only give us another advantage. |

| We simply do not come up to RFL minimum standards for games involving SL clubs. I know we will be warmly welcomed at Belle Vue (although I was a Dons lad I used to watch Wakey as well)
BTW we play at our best on big flat pitches  |

I'd be interested to understand why the RFL think a SL side needs a higher standard of facility? Sport is 17 men against 17 men, and if Hemel have been accepted into the competition and indeed the professional ranks, then that's enough as far as I'm concerned.
I'm really disappointed at this. Hope it's a good day for Hemel, and that the revenue is used wisely. |
