I could well be wrong but he was a couple of years below me at school and we have a couple of mutual friends and I seem to remember them saying he was always at Fev.

Fair play i must be wrong, Although on his profile on the fev site its does list us as a former club

I have just checked and he did play in our junior sides but has been at Fev since he was 16ish.

His brother is one of my sons best friends.He was brought to us by one of the best amateur coaches in the area who rated him as one of best talents around at the time, then moved over to Fev. He played well in the nines against us at Belle Vue the other week.

Just out of interest, who was the amateur coach?
