Quote ="Sandal Wild Cat"Still can't see any rise in land values taking place, not in this neck of the woods anyway.
From reading "Robbo's" post on the t'other Cas board he is a little more cautious to say the least. And is he not a major shareholder?
According to him WR is not sold, you have an option to sell, with a deposit already paid (£200,000). Furthermore he seems to think any developer in the right mind would lose their deposit and renegotiate a new deal after the current one expired.- A point I can agree with.
You would imagine houses would be built at the same time as the wider development if you aim to charge more for them. Why would people want a view of the Hicksons site waiting to be developed- albeit for a few years?
Surely to charge more you would build houses at the same time/slightly after construction of the wider development has begun- then you can sell the houses as part of a vision of a new residential and commercial area, rather than the first part of a development- which to begin with will have very poor visually pleasing surroundings to say the least.
Not having a dig just asking for reference on what I read from another supporter and asking a genuine question; TBF the time for slinging mud has long since got very boring and counter productive.'"
I wouldnt pay too much attention to anything 'robbo' says he has a grudge against the club and has spoken alot of rubbish with no evidnece to back it up. Not long ago he was saying that the blast zone wasnt going to be cleared anytime soon. He has as much actual knowledge as 'rugbyball'.
