After watching us today and the way our season has gone I think JK days are numbered. No one can question what he has done for the club and expectations are now higher than when he took over. However the players look un-interested and are inconsistant beyond belief and its time for a change.
I would be looking to replace JK with either Francis Cummings / Willie Poching as I think either are great young coaches who have done a fantastic job in bringing 3 championships to Leeds and they both together have run that since McLennon took over. Everyone knows Bluey doesnt do hardly any coaching Franny and Willie run the whole first team and have the players respect.
I for one would take either as our head coach as I think the winning mentality and culture they would bring to us would help us take that next step as a club and in the brand of rugby being played every week.
Actually what we really need is a far far better financial planning and contract management setup! then we may be able to mange players omings and going better, tax bills, the little things that stops the better players leaving and the coach, whoever he may be, having some players at the top of their careers.
My 10yo could do better at the moment, there is no step backwards, even Terry Matterson sharing coaching duties would see a little pride in his loaned teams performance! It happens at Cricket to a lesser extent!
