What about a statue recreating the famous Wembley photo of Derek Turner on the shoulders of his team mates with the Challenge Cup held above his head?
Something along those lines would be a great tribute to the club from the council and would go a long way toward deflecting the criticism of the council that they have zero regard for Trinity and what they mean to the City of Wakefield.
