Blaymire is a natural full-back, he has the intuition to read the game and know exactly where the kick is going and the safe pair of hands to catch it.

If Matty had the pace that Murphy has then he would be easily be pushing for the England full-back shirt, unfortunately he hasn't and therefore doesn't offer that added dimension of attacking flair. But what he does offer is the reassurance that we have an excellent and dependable last line of defence.

I suspect Murphy will take the F/B roll in time but for now his versatility means he plays where he plays.

i didnt get it wrong with him, he looks as tho hes worked hard on his physique, but hes too slow, makes hardly any ground, moves out of the way on occasions, never gets in position to make tackles. but if you think hes ok i suppose all us should. also if you look at the post mopseys love child is who you are replying to, who they are is a mystery. we are after a fullback to replace blaydire, remember mr kear can do no wrong
