The only suggestion I would make is on the copy you have made public, obscure the address. Other than that, exactly the right tactic.

If there are sound reasons, let's hear them, and give us a chance to understand. I just hope silence doesn't speak a thousand words.

An excellent letter and you did exactly the right thing copying in the press. To often things are done privately and the RFL can just ignore them.

We will see if the RFL will be as open and transparent as Maurice Watkins suggested in his report a year or so ago.

We will learn whether the RFL plan to be consistent in the application of the rules or whether the executive will play favourites.

Your letter is not just good for your club it is good for the game in general.

I wonder if you will get a reply. I wrote to them asking why the Bulls got docked half their Sky money while Wakefield didn't. I'm still waiting for a reply.

I'll answer that for you. It was because you agreed to it as part of your continued presence in SL. The first two seasons in SL we got no sky money so I wouldn't complain about getting half.

Oh and Wakefield hadn't had 1.2m in a secret loan from the RFL prior to their admin.
