Any major changes for next season ?
I read somewhere about the no. of interchanges reducing from 12 to 10, is this correct and are there any others ?

Understand that inter changes have been reduced to 10.

I was hoping for just a simple the referees will learn them

Wigan haven't finalised any rule changes for next season yet; when they have, they'll let the RFL know.

I heard the stumbling block is they can't agree with Leeds on how far forward, a forward pass can be.

We could adopt the Aussie rules, allowing deliberate strikes to the head.
This would also suit certain prop forwards from Leeds !!

don,t know of any on field but have heard a whisper that the salary cap is to be stictly enforced this season with leeds wigan & st helens as usual being exempt

That's possibly good news for our slightly lightweight but more nimble props. It means you'll have to have a pretty good line up to afford a 2x10 minute blockbuster.

Personally think they should get rid of the 'on report' option. It's a total cop out for the referee. It's make it seem like they're taking action when in reality they're just escaping making a decision. A board can look through the games and then decide in anything requires bringing to disciplinary action.

I agree about "on report".

Seems a complete waste of time bearing in mind that all matches are reviewed anyway.
