Good idea 'ST'.

I've signed, and have also copied the link to several of my contacts already, and will do more emailing later including an explanation of the situation.

Could I suggest, if those of you who have signed the petition but not contacted your friends that you do so as soon as possible.

There are 287 signatures already and increasing by the minute. As 'ST' says, it might be pointless (excuse the pun) but the more signatures obtained will show the strength of feeling that there is.

But I do think the more signatures the better and if everyone who signs just gets 1 extra person to sign it then that's gonna go a long way

Does this aid our cause? Or does it hinder it?

Depends on your view on the the situation I suppose. Had the same debate with myself last night. If nothing else, it examples that DR should be abolished. Certainly helps Batley and Donny's case if the RFL did take action against them and hinders other clubs who may have had a case for appeal. As we didn't use DR last season we are probably one of a few clubs who can say we played by the rules and look where it got us. Firstly IMO DR took us away from a level playing field and if clubs are abusing this and breaking the rules then there is a massive unfair advantage gained by the rule breaker.
