Wouldn't now be a good time for the club to announce that season ticket holders of any super league club will be admitted free to all Cougar home league matches for the rest of this season? Just show your season ticket & ID at the turnstile.

Targeted initiatives at reduced entry costs by all means (the offer to Wakey Fans the other season springs immediately to mind ) but FREE ..only if SL Clubs offered the same deal to Cougar Fans and really can you see that happening ?

I would rather we charged Bradford fans 20 quid.

They might not fancy it this season but...if all goes well...they will have to come to Lawkholme next season.

flyer to all local estates pre 2015 season

Better prematch entertainment and maybe a post match feature make it a family day out

And to be fair to the Board with the Cheap Pre Bought tickets , Free Kids Season Tickets , Pie n a Pint Offers for current season ticket holders and todays Mothers Day Promo are trying their best to increase crowd numbers plus there has been 20,00 full colour fixture lists, with useful matchday info as well (such as ground directions , kids,bars and food info) distributed around the town .

Its a fine line I'm sure between devising offers that are financially 'do-able ' and capable of attracting new faces through the gate and not p***ing off the 400/500 core support that keep the club a viable concernweek in week out.

Think memories of the mid 90s have been rekindled very much this year thanks to the great Cougarmania the Movie event.BUT while its great to reminisce and nothing will take those great times away as a Club we need to be finding a new angle .

IMHO the whole 'Cougarmania' moniker needs dropping , it was part of an era that will never happen again .

Its Sunday Morning and my brain isnt working quite just yet but some slogan around the pride in the town , pride in the club theme maybe ?

I recall watching Leigh on TV some time ago and their fans had a banner of some sort with 'OUR TOWN - OUR TEAM' written across it; I thought that was an excellent slogan. Leigh play in the shadow of Wigan and I think the town is part of the Wigan metropolitan district so it's similar to our own Keighley / Bradford set-up. I think such a slogan would go some way towards emphasising our 'separate-ness', highlighting the fact that Keighley is a town in its own right and not somehow 'in Bradford'. God, how I hate it when I see or hear Keighley being described as being 'in Bradford' just because the council area bears that name. I am not a 'Bradfordian' and I never will be. God forbid that the potential fixture between our two teams next season is described as 'the Bradford derby'. Like hell it will be. OUR TOWN - OUR TEAM. Sounds good to me.

I agree with your point, but I can't see the media being so naïve.

They know that 10 miles separate the two places. They'd more likely refer to it as a "West Yorkshire Derby" in the same way they refer to our games against Halifax for example.
