Not much use for our fans but if anyone knows anyone travelling to the Bingley Live festival in a couple of weeks , the Club is putting on Camping during the three days

£10 per night per person (1, 2, 3 or 4 night options available)

£1 per day for minibus transfer to and from the centre of Bingley

£4 per breakfast (cereal and full English served from 830am until 10.30am)

£1 for tea and coffee only

Bars open from 9am until 11am and then 930pm until 3am

Live entertainment in the Hall of Fame from 1030pm until 1230am (Friday and Saturday only)

This is a really good idea and whoever came up it deserves a lot of praise.

Good value for those coming (Just like BML itself is) and hopefully the club makes a fair few quid out of it.

It could be a good atmosphere, and could be the start of an event/festival production at Cougars? Link it in with the Exchange Music and Arts Centre perhaps?

What was the take up for this? Did the club make pots of money?

It's this weekend.

Can't people book in advance or are we hoping that people will turn up on the day, risky business if they haven't taken any advance bookings and weather is bad. Fingers crossed the weather is good and people turn up then.

All I was getting at was that it's not worth adding it all up until after the event.

If I was being critical, I'd say they maybe came up with the idea a little late for this time around. But do you know what? I'm not going on get on the club's back because of it. It's an idea worth developing beyond this year irrespective of how it turns out for this. There's around 15,000 fans go every day. The location for a camp site is good, not too far away, amenities on site, a 24 hour McDonalds over the road, secure and if it does absolutely hammer it down and get waterlogged, you can always kip in one of the covered stands.
