Whatever the club tries to do the fans just moan, try and get behind the team and the club or we will end up loosing Helen and Barry from the club then we will be f**ked.

Don't understand how it is Barry's fault for Jones dropping ball from kick off and haven scoring or the way Danny Jones showed no interest in the game, for me if Pressley and Jones are leaving then they both should be dropped, play people who are committed to the club.

And if Jones thinks he is good enough for Super League he is having a laugh.

To be honest I'd be much more concerned if people weren't wingeing in our predicament, at least it shows the care about the club.

I think if someone is going to critisise, which they are more than entitled to do, it has to be constructive though.

I'd love to get more enthusiastic about cheering them on, but for the last 3 games it hasn't been reciprocated with the effort the lads have generally put in throughout the reast of the season.



It isn't, and I also think it's wrong just to single out Danny Jones here just because he's been linked with another club.

Only Ollie Pursglove and Chris Baines could be given any credit amongst that shambolic first half team performance. And I'll give Barry some credit for the almighty bollocking he gave them after their 3rd try. In fact he was lucky not to get ejected by the stewards for it, family game and all that

I would laso like to point out that as far as our fans go, we have probably been the most loyal vocal fans going. After what the "loyal fans" have been through in the last few seasons they have a right to comment. However, I would never boo my team off.

Helen and Barry are not stupid they knew what they were taking on. The new board new what they were taking on. I for one hope no one leaves.

Unless there is investment both in players and facilities we are what we will be.

I don’t mind it when we get beaten, or even absolutely hammered, but that Keighley team on Sunday played a first half that had no effort at all.

I would gladly applaud a Keighley side that lost 80-0 but played with passion, commitment and pride, but Sundays first half performance showed none of the above. It is the first time in years of watching Keighley that i have see such little effort from a Keighley team.

They accept our applause when they put effort in, and should expect that response if they cant be bothered turning up.

The ambulance was not called for one of the players.
It is all to do with a on going police investigation, that the club are giving 100% co-operation to.

It would appear that most people know about it.

However this is not the place to discuss it.

I'm not a Cougars fan, but I wouldn't have thought that there was any justification in Barry Eaton picking himself for the Whitehaven game. Surely you have a young scrum-half that could have been given a first-team opportunity? Barry just seems determined to grab the limelight whenever he can.

One thing I'd never question is Barry's commitment to the club and the fans. Sunday's show of it under the sticks showed that.

He's definitely not infallible, he's human after all, some team selections have been confusing recently, only 3 props at Batley, Buster at scrum-half against Barrow and playing himself at stand-off on Sunday. I just wish he'd show more faith in his reserves.

As a player I think he's past it, he's showed flashes of his undoubted genius but his lost too much pace to be able to play at semi-pro level.

Well we're about to find out if this is true.

In the light of recent events I think a fans and directors meeting is called for!!!

I have also heard that Helen has gone.

Can't say I'm filled with optimism for our Super League bid.

If Helen has gone then we just have to get on with it and find a replacement. I've never been a fan of moaning when we loose someone.

Unless someone lets the fans know what is going on then I am unsure of anything Cougars do or aspire to. It just seems a case of here we are again. Maybe one too many for me.

Thing is Goosey, its part and parcel of supporting a small club. Every other year most clubs have some sort of "issue", whether it's money or someone leaving.

Fev are on a high at the moment and aiming at Stupid League, but what happens when they don't get it. Blackpool are having problems, Oldham have tax issues and look at Whitehaven. Every four years Fax implode, Swinton are like yo yo's and Widnes were saved by a money man. Just off the cuff I can only think of Batley as being reasonably stable.

I just take my rugby for what it is, win or loose, and make sure I have a good day out.

Players come and go, directors, coaches and managers come and go that's sport, that's life.

My loyalties are with Keighley Cougars RLFC through the good times and bad. We're not having a good time of it at the moment but the glory days will return because sport like that it's cyclical.

When they do come back and we're watching us beat Halifax at The Shay or seeing whoever our captain is lifting some silverware this will all be a distant memory but the joy we feel will be all the sweeter because of where we've come from as a club.

I didn't realise it was redundancy, I assumed she had found another job.

Redundancy means the "position" not the "person" so it looks like they are going to re-organise.

RL never fails to be "interesting".

I have not seen anything official yet so I will reserve judgement until I have seen an announcement.
