I am assuming Barry put out a lower tier team with some reserves to give them game time keeping a few heads on the bench should things get tricky. We put 50+ past them at home.

we won and now that's all that matters, always been a tricky ground for us up there, it appears like a case of they're damned if they do and damned if they don't and right now we have to get behind them.

We were there quite simply and unacceptably we took foot of gas and showed Workington disrespect in the 2nd half.

Until that point we had total control.

Whilst diappointed in end we won which is all that matters at the moment and its not often we have won at Workington.

I don't think it was a case of you taking your foot off the gas but of having no gas left in the tank. Town ran you ragged in tha last half an hour and you were lucky to hang on.

If the touch judge hadn't disallowed a perfectly good try for Town in the first half when the ref was going to give it, it might have been a different result but we now know that if Cougars are a top four team then so are we.

Geekay in the 2nd half you clearly showed gread spirit of that there is no doubt but if we had continued as we were and and we should have done I doubt the score would have been close.

That being said we were under the cosh a bit but you should be proud of your players never say die attitude so good luck for rest of season.

At this stage of the season the win is all we need but in the second half we should have used the wind like they did in the first half and kicked early in the tackle count to pin them back as they were looking tired.We never did which eventuaally as the game went on let them back into the match.Positives from the game were Brendan played well,and Jermaine looked very sharp.Even though the performance was'nt convincing I think we will win are remaining 3 games and snatch 2nd spot back,come on Cougars
