Nice WUM attempt.
Why would you have Rodgers as MVP at a 5-3 record? Only been good for 3 weeks. RG3 will win OROY. I agree with Peyton. Would be nice for Pagano r.e emotional angle but hasn't been involved enough. Philbin could have a chance.

| I never thought i'd see a defence as good as the 85' Bears but if they keep playing this well for the rest of the season this years Bears D could be that team.

| Annoyed that the Raiders lost, as did the Stallions, but at least Doug Martin got me 51 fantasy points...

No wind up.
We've started slower than last year but Rodgers is still the best QB in the league. If he's done more in 3 "good" games than the rest of the QB's have in 8 it says a lot about him! Slightly down on last year but last year was something special.
For me Luck should get it as he has turned around the Colts and looks, at times, like Peyton in the huddle. He has so much leadership and poise. Plus they look likely to make the playoffs. Wouldn't be suprised if RG3 got it.
Only thought of Pagano since the Colts are turned around and at least look like a competent team now. Philbin is a good call actually if they keep it up.

Same, although I'm less likely to get up on a Monday feeling annoyed after another loss!
Noticed a way of sort of getting around the blackout restrictions while watching GamePass last night. Had RedZone on for both the early and evening games and noticed they were showing coverage of both the Sky games which is pretty good.

| Good game between me and conroy in the end. He edged it by 15 in the end. Eli being awful and redman on my bench didn't help.

| I pulled a Norv. Picked Robbie Gould from waivers as Gostkowki was on a bye week and forgot to swap them. The result was a 2 point loss. Idiot.
I'd have to give the OROY to Luck, I think he's been immense. You have to give a lot of credit to Reggie Wayne too this year. He's really stepped up.
In the world of the Chargers I think every fan is in the same boat as I am, counting down the days until Norv is shown the door.

| Does anybody think the Texans,Falcons or Bears have the legs or nerve to go all the way this year?.
I said at the start of the season it would be a Giants v Ravens Superbowl...probably miss on the Ravens prediction but get the feeling the "seen it,done it" teams in the playoffs will get there again.

The Bears will get to the superbowl as long as they avoid the Packers in the playoffs. As for the AFC I can only see the Pats or Texans having enough to get to New Orleans.

| No one think the 49ers can get there this year - the supposed best team in the NFL, according to some experts, after making the NFC Championship game last year?

| Norv needs to go mate. but I also think it may be time for rivers to say goodbye. he is too inconsistent for me and id be happy to to try and trade someone to get a high draft pick next season. lost faith in a lot of the charger starters this season.

| I wouldnt rule out denver for making the superbowl. Manning is leading from the front and with thomas and decker he is making easy passes and TDs.

| Agree with cas all the way about Rivers. I have never really seen why he gets so highly rated. I'd put him alongside Jay Cutler, he will probably get some decent stats at the end of every year but well short of the top QBs.
Not sure about Denver for the SB although if we get some momentum between now and the end of the season who knows. We need to tighten the defense and not go behind in every game. Manning is doing what he was brought to do though, which is make sure Denver scores points. If our D gets its act together we can be a top side because Manning puts pressure on the opposition by just chucking completion after completion and moving Denver up the field fast.

All 3 could, the most likely being the Texans, but i doubt any of them do.
The Bears are a great defence but they are beatable by a good accurate QB, which they would face in the playoffs. The reason we have the beating of them is Rodgers is deadly accurate. He very rarely puts it anywhere other than where the WR can get it and you'll hardly ever see a Packers WR getting cleaned out with a big hit because of that. They don't give up big plays that often so you need a QB capable of taking the short stuff but willing to throw it deep when it is there (ie Rodgers, Eli, Brees etc). Offence is pretty hot and cold for them and you can rattle Cutler.
The Texans are a very good team in a weak AFC. Wouldn't suprise me if they are in the Superbowl.
The Falcons are pretenders. I refuse to accept that they are the real deal until they consistently beat good teams outdoors. They benefit massively from playing indoors and aren't as good away from the Georgia Dome. Plus they have been completely terrible in the playoffs. I think they will be #1 seed and bounced out at the first chance.
The 49ers will not win anything with Alex Smith as a QB. It is as simple as that.
The Denver Manning's have a very good shot too in a weak AFC.
