I'd be disappointed if Liverpool didn't sell the naming rights to the new stadium. I'd even go as far to say I wouldn't mind Anfield to be rebranded if it meant tens of millions into the transfer kitty.

would be a huge waste of money to do it at anfield, because as already mentioned it will remain anfield, not that that's a problem for liverpool but i would be amazed if it happens.

When Man City moved stadiums there was some debate as to whether it should be called City of Manchester Stadium or Eastlands. AFIK no one suggested it being called Maine Rd, simpy because there was an unspoken agreement that that description should remain the preserve of the old ground. I'd be surprised if Liverpool fans wanted the new stadium to inherit the titkle "Anfield".
