| Watch your team talks - if you've got low morale constantly hammering players is only going to magnify the problem rather than motivate them to play better.

| Started to give my Bristol City game another go, with 8 games left I was 3rd place in the Championship (2012/2013) and 1 point off 2nd place. Went on a shocking run and ended up in 6th with 1 game to go, 1 point clear of Stoke. I had to play 20th place Hull City in the last game, who were trying to avoid relegation and Stoke played Swansea, with nothing to play for. Had the goal updates tab on, and saw Stoke go 3-0 up early on, and then I conceded a stupid goal from Jimmy Bullard which Marton Fulop dropped. I equalised with 63 mins gone with a Florin Bratu (signed from Liverpool on a free) goal. In injury time, I brought on Jimmy Keohane who had scored 20 goals in 40 games on loan at Luton, the corner in the 93rd minute came in from Jermaine Jenas, Alan Smith volleyed it only to be blocked by my own defender in Lewin Nyatanga but then it fell to Jimmy Keohane who volleyed it into the goal and I finished 6th in the league.
I had to play Leeds in the playoffs, with the first leg being at home I knew I needed a result. I ended up winning 3-0 and thought it was secured that I had a place in the final against Sheffield United. Second leg at Elland road though, I was 3-0 down after 48 minutes, so I brought on Dani Pacheco who scored the goal of the season, running from his own box and lobbing the keeper. I then scored a header from a corner (my 17th of the season) which put me into the final. In the final, I went 1-0 down early on, but a 67th minute goal from Jermaine Jenas took it to extra time, and then penalties. I ended up winning 4-3 on penalties and I'm promoted the the PL once more.
Since it was disastrous last time I was in the PL (I finished 20th with 13 points and a GD of -86) can anybody recommend some signings to help me stay up? My team is currently:
Fulop
Ribeiro
Nyatanga
Stewart
Van Aanholt
Bratu
Smith
Keohane/Elliot
Jenas
Pacheco
Owen
Bell (Goalkeeper)
Fontaine
Amadi-Holloway
Svard
Watt
Maynard
Pitman

| Complete overhaul of my squad in the summer, and after 4 games I've lost 2, drawn 1 and won 1. My team now is:
Bell
Nyatanga
Kolo Toure
Hammar
Ribeiro
Castro
Michael Johnson
Cairney
Albrighton
Pacheco
Ngog
All in all, probably cost me around £20m to put the side together, and sold some players too.

| Well, I managed to survive in the season in the premier league, ending up finishing in 14th place after a successful season which saw me get the the quarter finals of the League cup (lost 2-0 to Man City), 3rd round of the FA Cup (but it was away at Chelsea) and ended up with 42 points. This season I want to secure a mid table finish, before progressing year on year. My team at the moment is:
Bell
Fuchs
Amadi-Holloway
Smalling
Kolo Toure
Ribeiro
Cairney
Jenas
Lallana
Ngog
Evans
Pacheco
Albrighton
Keohane
Maynard
Van Aanholt
Castro
Fulop

I started my first game as Liverpool for a nice easy start, but N'gog has been fantastic for me as an impact player, or playing against the lesser teams.

He is a great player for me, the one problem being that he is quite injury prone, just got a broken foot against Man City and is out for between 4-5 months.

| Christian Benitez plays well above his attributes. Scored plenty for me in the CL with Porto, including the year we won it he done the business in the final as Dzeko was banned. Available for about 2.5m too.

| Signed Edinson Cavani as I needed a big powerful goalscorer to play as my lone striker, and the man is an absolute beast! With Willian on the left, Suarez on the right, and the likes of Matias Fernandez, Eden Hazard, Chiquinho, Gerrard and Meireles supplying the through balls, I'm banging in the goals left right and centre.

What you're more likely to find if you go over budget is that the board will restrict the wages you are allowed to offer potential new signings, meaning you have to move players out before you can get any more in.

To be honest, I've brought in all the players I want for the new season.....(Third season, 2 successive promotions, Chesterfield now in the Championship... ).....But I have gone a touch over my budget (45k with a 42.2k budget).
I just wondered would my chairman start demanding I shed some players (or else....).

Wouldn't have thought so, you're only £3k over.
Unless the club is in the deep brown stuff financially you should be safe from that.
Kick some of your reserve players out on loan with a recall clause if you want to save yourself some wages.

| Is anyone finding there are a lot of injuries on the latest patch? I've started a new game as Everton and after fielding a decent lineup in the first game I am now left with a Saints-esque injury crisis. Cahill played 3 minutes of the first game and broke his leg and by the 3rd game I was down 12 first team players.
Bidwell, Duffy, Vellios, Craig, Wallace, Kinsella and Mustafi have all played in the Premier League so far, Vellios and Wallace have been regulars for about 15 games now. I'm in 15th and don't have a senior striker or midfielder fit bar Rodwell. When I do get some back the likes of Beckford and Felliani disappear on international duty.

| Not really noticed that many injuries you must be just unlucky. However I did buy Simon KJaer from Wolfsburg, had him for 3 days and he was then out for 11 months with a viral infection.

| Anyone got any recommendations for a cheap striker to play in Scotting First Divison? just heading into my second season with Dundee and need a striker because Leigh Griffiths is wanting out, not had any offers yet but he wants to leave and he's out of contract after this season so could do with a replacement coming in soon.

| In my first game of 2011 I took Crewe from the bottom to the Prem, left them a decent squad and a shed load of pennies. Then I left for Sunderland, took me a few years, various Champions league qualifications and and FA cup win and finally had an awesome squad and the game frickin crash dumped. Was devastated.

| Approaching the end of my second season at Neath in the Welsh League, a job I took purely on the basis it means I get to manage Lee Trundle
Won the league and FA Cup double in my first season, clinched the league with four games to go this season and in the final of both cups so a possible treble is on the cards.
Team's mostly made up of players from English non-league clubs and kids who have been let go by big clubs in England and Scotland. Playing 4-3-3 with Trundle as playmaker in the middle of the front three and pace either side of him.
Got Blackpool as my parent club, but they've been sod all use in terms of sending me players. Might have to look at changing it in the off-season.

| I must say my current game is remarkably close to real life. Top 7 is the same and bottom 7 is the same with 30 games gone as the league finished this season. After a truly awful start with loads of injuries I have recovered to 7th with Everton. I've got no money still but have got several quality young players in now.
Top scorers are Beckford and Vellios with 10.
