The most important thing for a forward to do is score goals. Most managers would want him in their team because he is just that, a great finisher. |

I think playing Rooney behind Eto'o would work brilliantly. If there's one side to Rooney's game I've never been sure about, it's his finishing, he scores well in streaks, but isn't consistent enough in front of goal.
I remember him and RVN done pretty well when they played up top together, I'd say Eto'o's quicker than RVN, and may be a better player for Rooney to link up with.

Think Eto'o isn't that great myself.
I'd be delighted if he signed for United to replace Ronaldo.
Robben is quality, yes, but he's pretty hated at Liverpool. Rafa doesn't like him, and Reina certainly doesn't.

He's got a big job on his hands has Pellegrini.
Despite what some might say after their Champions League exploits Vila-real are a small club and Madrid are at the opposite end of the scale.
No doubting he's done a greatjob at the Madrigal, but I think the jury is still out as to whether he'll bring the title back to the Bernabeu. |

Can't see him lasting long. A good coach but he wasn't Real's first choice, also, I think a strict coach like a Capello or a Hiddink would have been better taking over the massive egos. Also, they really do need to sort that defence out, it's not just the players, it's their methods and tactics. Watching them trying to step up to play players offside was embarrassing, they'd just stand there with their hands in the air, clueless.

I disagree Rob, Real were at their most successful when Del Bosque was in charge, who isn'r really a household name. |
