The trouble with vassell is hes a striker who cant finish lol. He will run all day for you put in the effort and track back and give 100%^ every game hes just too injury prone and doesnt score enough goals would be a ggood signing for them.

With Benzema all but set to sign with Madrid, and the likely hood Ribery will end up signing too. I can't see them signing Villa although I would of prefered it if they signed him ahead of Karim. Although I am very happy with the signing of Benzema.

I always felt sort of ... I dunno ... unfair not liking/appreciating Vassell, but I won't be sorry if we might be on the cusp of getting beyond the days of having such almost-made-it players. |

Indeed. As we sold virtually all of ours bar a couple of obstructed view seats at the back of Lower Gwladys and probably Lower/Upper Bullens. The way Karlos was talking you think there was about 20,000 in there. |

My initial hopes were for a wide player, a striker and an attacking midfielder.
I was thinking Silva/Valencia, Benzema and maybe Ribery/Costa. |
