Valencia imo will be a good buy but people will expect a replacement for Ronaldo. Valencia will offer more than just an attacking threat, from what i've seen of him he has a great work ethic but isn't gonna come central to hit 40 yrd shots instead he's the type of player that will run down the wing and put in the danger balls into the box for our strikers to finish.

IF he does stay fit you want to hope Liverpool are challenging from day one, cos he has a nasty habit of looking severly apathetic and even going missing (and I'm not talking about the treatment table) when things are not so rosy.

Robben is a magnificent football player. He has obviously had an injury ravaged career and that would worry any club looking at him, but beyond that I never noticed him looking apathetic while at Chelsea.

I don't see why he'd come back to England TBH. He was kicked to 5hit when he was here and then given a heap of abuse over diving. He should stay away from the PL IMO.

Saying that, I'd still be delighted if Chelsea were to bring him back. And even if he did join the hypocrites from Anfield I'd still wish him well because talent like his is needed in the game.

The thing that has triggered the rumours is Madrid apparently offering him to clubs. If they can keep him fit I think he'll stay at the Bernabeu and with the recent sigings by the club I think next year he'll look a lot more interested.

I don't rate Gago at all, I think he's a disastrous player. Lass is good, but they need a partner for him, Alonso would be perfect but I hope we can hold out. It sort of doesn't matter who Madrid have at the back, they'll still concede bucket loads as the front six aren't d about tracking runners etc. First thing that Hiddink did at Chelsea was enforce that whoever was leading the line, Anelka or Drogba defended from the front, harried defenders etc, they set the tone. Barca have just won the CL doing this, and Utd fans love Tevez & Rooney etc for similar. Madrid never have this ethic, and with the signings they've made won't have this ethic next year neither. It just ends up with runners flooding at Diarra and the back four, and it's pointless. They've had Cannavaro and other classy defenders, Walter Samuel was a worldbeater at the time, but they make them look poor as they stretch them to the limits. Gago's tracking back at Anfield was borderline pathetic.
