I really have a soft spot for Caley Thistle, even as a Celt.

They are 120 miles away from their nearest Premiership rivals.

They play a lot of "home grown" players.

They do a hell of a lot of work in the community.

If they ever do go down, it'll be bad news for the North of Scotland.

Pretty much agreed although Hearts will finish above Hibs I'm afraid.

I can't agree with you on this Celtic will certainly miss Shaun Maloney he didn't sweep up the SPL awards from being a bad player. In Craig Beattie & Derek Riordan we have good cover but we will need to buy a replacement come the Transfer Window.


Yes i agree Lee Naylor is a very good Left back and i was supprised that with Ashley Cole & Wayne Bridge injured England didn't have a look at him. SPL Player Of The Year i'd go for Arthur Boruc.

He has the potential to be a good signing, maybe he has signed for Glasgow's B team as a stepping stone to a move to a big club

Shaun Maloney has been badly advised. £1 million for a player whose had has been turned by a "bigger club" is cracking business. He's played left-wing but his transfer is going to force Celtic to sign another naturally left-hand sided player. I rate Maloney. I seriously do. But with Celtic's current formation, I prefer Nakamura on the left and Jarosik on the right.

You'll be hard pressed to find a Celtic fan in Scotland who has been to Tynecastle who feels sorry for those fans one little bit.
