He stands out like a sore thumb to me in current conditions. Reverence ticks all the right boxes - course form (2 wins from 3 starts including in the Group 1 Haydock Park Sprint Cup), great form on soft/heavy ground which it's likely to be on Saturday (395k of his 486 winnings have been on this including 2/2 on Heavy), his trainer knows the time of day with these older sprinters (Tedburrow, Damalis were regular victors at advanced ages) and Reverence has had a good start to the season when runner-up to Inxile (since DQ'd from 1st in a French Group 3) in Ireland in April. He's a great price at 50/1 for this.
Advice: 1pt each-way Reverence @ 50/1 (Bluesq, Betfred)
Also fancy Look Busy as a horse with a great record at 5f and will go on the ground, yard in form etc. (25/1 with Bet365 and Bluesq).

You could be right but they are no great shakes this season and true they responded well to their Wire defeat by beating Saints but Salford are on the back of a few decent performances and think they have a good chance of a win but taking the +6 just gives the insurance if they lose a tight game. |
