But in general, IMO he's probably an £8-10m player, basing that on several premier league centre backs who went for similar money and considering their standings at the time as well as the jump in the market there's now been. I'm thinking of the likes of Davies & Cuellar, Anton Ferdinand, Upson, Kaboul, and the aforementioned Bassong.

I think it's fair that Brown's whacked that price tag on him, he's Hull's player and they don't need to sell. Much like us with Alonso, they can demand whatever they deem needed to buy a replacement. It's obvious Hull aren't considering selling him with that price. In today's market he's worth about £5m, in a normal market he's worth about half that, and that's taking into consideration his nationality..

They have a paper thin squad. If they lose Lescott, I'm not sure how reliable a replacement Senderos could be. He's not a better player and he had his fair amount of injuries last year.

Yes we could mate. Moyes is very stubborn and is determined Lescott won't go but it could be a horrible mistake come deadline day or thereabouts if this is still on going. He clearly wants to leave, I doubt keeping him is the best option.



Considering it's Lescott, Yobo and Jags our centre halves out of that list and Jags out till around November, Lescott wanting out - we could be a little bit on the fooked side here.

With Moyes leaving it so late as well, if he does sign a defender from a foreign club, it might be a big mistake throwing him straight in the deep end.

Good point that actually mate. Yeah Neville played there and played really well tbh. It was a bit of a shock to see him at CB but he did a good job. It allowed Rodwell to go back into a defensive midfield role then. If Senderos was brought in with Yobo and Jags when he is fit plus Neville and Rodwell can also play there if required as cover.

Yeah, he done well, to be honest Malaga didn't do that much, their goal was stunning though, not many would have stopped that.

I'm still unsure about Fellaini in the hole, personally, I think Moyes should move Cahill back further up the field and drop Fellaini a little deeper.

I don't think he's crap, I think he's average and isn't worth anywhere near £12m.

We paid something like £6m for Agger and £6.5m for Skrtel, even with English nationality included, Turner is about a £5m player. I can understand why Hull have whacked a big fee on his head, they have every right to, but he isn't that good.
