| I'm not one for gloating after another side loses (On quick reflection I don't think I've gloated or taken the pi55 over this or previous games, no doubt if I have someone will point it out.)
One thing I am grateful over though is that we don't have to put up with the Mancs celebrating on here. They would have been utterly unbearable.
The papers seem to be suggesting that Ronaldo might leave Man Utd after this, and the story of him putting blame on Fergie for the defeat would certainly help get him the move. I don't think we'd get him, he'll obviously want to go to either of the Spanish giants, but IMO we should be doing everything we can to get him. And I'd LOVE to see him playing for Chelsea. He is a diver, he might be an odious person, but above all he is a magnificent football player. With Ronaldo playing for Chelsea we could appoint Ranieri or Scolari as manager and still walk it to a PL title win!  |

Well if he's bored with it then all he has to say is "I'm staying here. I'm not interested in moving anywhere." That will kill most of the speculation. Instead he skirts round the issue and makes it sound as though he does want a move again.
I can understand Man Utd fans being bored or pi55ed off with the constant speculation. I can understand Man Utd fans feeling anger towards Ronaldo for the way he's acted. But I cannot really understand why any Man Utd fan would want Ronaldo to leave your club after what he's done for you. The scouse divs I can understand why they say they wouldn't want him, they are stupid and they've got no chance of getting him anyway, but I can't get my head around United fans turning against Ronaldo over something so trivial. |

You see so many conflicting reports it's hard to determine which ones are true. The one I read at the weekend was him saying he was staying at Utd and he was happy. The one I read yesterday he said he is concentrating on the national team and as for club football we will see.
Both reports contained quotes from him so I don't see how we know which one is the truth.
I want him to stay, I just get fed up of all the bollox, like you say I am sure he does too but he does not help himself by always leaving the door open. |

Yeah they do actually.
It is far easier for Manchester United to win the European Cup than say Exeter winning promotion in their first season back up due to finances there are perhaps 5 or 6 teams in Europe who can win the Champions League whereas at least half of Division 2 were in the promotion hunt at one stage or another.
And I am sure Exeter fans enjoyed their triumph far more than United fans when they won the league because they have seen the crap times of relegation to the Conference and days out at Forest Green, Northwich etc.
There is football outside Manchester and Liverpool you know. |

Bad times??? One releghation and a decade of lower top 10 finishes (but a fair few Cup Finals along the way)....oh such hardship.
How many who watched them go down are still going to Old Trafford now.
Not many I would guess as they have been priced out by Tarquin and Heather from Surrey.
Manchester United do not care about fans from the 70's, 80's etc or even the now they want to just get bigger and bigger and squeeze the last penny out of everyone be they in Salford or Saudi Arabia.
I notice Exeter fans never felt the need to set up FC Exeter. |
