Jesus H Christ. They've had numerous pretenders, they may as well go for the real Messiah. Especially now that Lucifer (Denis Wise) has fallen from grace.

If you actually listened you would know why. Carragher is a determined lad, he knows the league's over but he knows there are some individual records and stuff still to be won. Carragher often goes mad at teammates when they slack off in defence, he just went OTT with Arbeloa. We were playing dross and they were getting a fair amount of chances, he was annoyed and Arbeloa's slack defending was the final straw for him. We weren't in a winning position in the league for months, and I don't mean the whole top of the table for 2 hours lark.

Carragher's reasons for going mad were right, he was right to have a go at his teammates, but the manner in which he done it, and where he done it wasn't.

I remember in January they were linked heavily with him, but then I read somewhere that you'd stolen a march on them and agreed a deal with Wigan for the summer, or something like that.
