They wont even make the europa league. You can spend as much as you want, but when you lack team spirit you will get no where.

It still has the potential to be a disastrous off season for us. I'd take not signing another player and sticking with what we have tbh as the alternatives of losing Masch and/or Alonso will undo the work Rafa has been doing moulding the team. In an ideal world we will lose Leto (signed and sealed, roughly £3m) Dossena (£5. No not, £5m, £5.) and Babel (£7m) and buy Silva as Rafa has already said we have money to buy a player without having to sell.

And we wont make the Europa League that is laughable and has for the team spirit we had it last year we just couldnt play well away from home we tried to play too much entertaining football and not grind the results out away

Once again, I am not jealous of City at all, it wasn't a comment out of jealousy if people, like you, would actually look at the last few years in the league the is fook all for any Evertonian to be jealous of City anyway. All I said was why Mark wanted to see Eto'o join City and not be another star to laugh at them and I asked why? because attempting to sign the likes of Eto'o and Kaka after finishing mid-table without actually winning or achieving anything for years is laughable. The only thing City have that we don't is money but then there are few clubs that can compete with City on that.

I have said IF they sign Eto'o, Tevez and other big names then it is a worry because it could soon become a top 5 and leave us and Villa and everyonelse behind but up to know it is all rumour and again City did fook all last season but of course I must be jealous of a mid-table finish and a season of disappointment eh

Spot on, I wouldn't disagree. To be honest a number of our fans are tw@s. i have had many issues with them myself and it seems to be getting worse not better at times, my Liege trip sticks out as an issue but I have said many times about the scummy behaviour of our fans.



We do have a very good history and one to be proud of. It's better than most clubs can claim to have so why wouldn't be happy with it. Bores? If you watched us often enough to comment I would accept what you say but seen as you don't your clearly lost in the past.

We got knocked out by Villareal (with honours & they went on to the semi's), Bucarest (Humiliated- but it was no 8-1 hamering by Boro) and by Standard Liege (Belgium champions) so its hardly a poor record.

At least we made it into Europe anyway. Only wish we played a Cypriot side in the qualifiers too.

But D.D. hates Everton for doing that? He'd rather lose 5-4 than win 1-0, apparantly!

we don't live in united's shadow, never have and never will it may have escaped your notice but both us and united have 18 league titles, and we have won more european trophies than them. whereas you lot have always been the poor relations.

i am definitely a neutral in this citeh v toffee's argument, but lets face it everton are one of the countries leading traditional sides, only liverpool, united, nal and villa have more illustrious histories.

just because citeh have had an influx of dihrams doesn't make them a big club, just like chelski and their roubles financed club....................

I never eluded to that.

When you have bad experiences every time you go to Goodison - get spat at, coins thrown etc - it kind of sticks with you. I've been to grounds all over the country and haven't ben subjected to the abuse I get there. The venom in the eyes of your lot is worrying. It's like going back to what I imagine the 80s were like. Fathers and sons giving you abuse as your walking to the ground. Women spitting at you. Dodging bottles. You don't forget it.

Even the travelling support at Old Trafford start trouble out of nothing. A prime example was when I was walking back to my car from OT and a coach load of Everton fans drove past giving the ol' arms out plane impression (classy) and throwing coins & bottles out of an open door. When someone reacted and tried to get on the coach when it stopped at traffic lights they called the Police. I have never seen anything like that with away fans in the time that I've been regualrly attending games. The only thing similar was the Roma match after the trouble over there.

Of course other team have the minority of idiots. It seems that with Everton, it's the majority.

come on lads, lets not start a debate as to which club has the worst fans. EVERY club has it's lunatic element, but please don't give them the publicity they don't deserve.

I stopped reading when i read, a prime example...you could make up any old b/s and who'd know. I once saw a piano dropped of the North Stand by Utd fans they were aiming for the away fans yarda yarda!!
