And CM Punk has been accused of blading during his match with Jerry Lawler, which is a big no no backstage at WWE. But there seems to have been no fall out from it which suggests that Punk either has a lot of pull backstage or was able to argue the merits of his actions'"
For a company that used Blading almost weekly for a very long time I wouldn't give to shiny ones about their current views just because Mrs McMohan is going to fail at running for senate again.

Blood has been off WWE programming for quite some time, except in very rare occasions. And so now, when it does show it, there's more of a shock value to it.

According to pwtorch the red in that match got a fine which Punk paid.

It will have been a work.
I really can't see Charles Robinson getting fined $500K and Punk just paying it off for him.

Would be a strange work seeing as Punk is now heel.
I read the article and assumed pwtorch had added an extra zero or two.

| Note to Matt Hardy.
If you are supposed to be a secret and not let anyone know that it is you as part of aces and eights then don't jump on the edge of the ring with your mast around your neck.

| Haven't watched since No Way Out, any sign of any improvement?
At 24, its embarrassing enough watching WWE to start with, even worse if it feels like wasting hours.

| I think pairing Punk with Heyman is a good call. Punk is still not getting a full on heel reaction and Heyman can get heat from an iceberg and not just because of an annoying voice (Vicky Guerrero I'm looking at you) but because he's able to work a crowd which is something that a lot of modern wrestlers lack the ability to do.

I've always preferred heel characters, but when you throw in guys like Heyman to back them up you simply can't lose.

In all honesty I'm not sure how much it will change.
Punk reasons for his 'respect' rants are right on the money that being the champ not getting main events due to super Cena hogging the limelight and the smarter fans know this to be true so the heel turn won't work.
Putting Punk and Hayman together is a great idea but if both of them keep telling the same 'truth's' then he still isn't going to get big heat for the exact same reason.

| Found this amusing whilst reading JR's blog;
'Hope to hit El Paso this weekend to watch my Oklahoma Sooners kick off the 2012 season versus UTEP at the ridiculous starting time of 8:30 in El Paso and 9:30 in Oklahoma thanks to the TV folks who own the game and now call the shots in every league.'
Nice to see that we're not the only ones with this problem

| This is not good right now. Michael Cole silent for nearly 10 minutes, Lawler is in serious condition backstage. Possibly a heart attack.

| It's been confirmed as a heart attack. He was dead for 20 minutes. How horribly ironic that the last time anything like this happened in WWE was Owen Hart, and Bret was on the show last night. I reckon he's never going to wrestle again, and will be off commentary for months.

Read about it this morning, jesus it's awful what's happened. Hopefully he pulls through and makes a full recovery but he definitely won't be wrestling again. I think he was doing far too much in the first place.

Watched it this morning and it was horrible. I thought WWE did the right thing in not having and commentary..... Although I expected them to mention it in some way, to the live audience.
In a side note I thought Micheal Cole did well in giving the updates and held himself together.

Can't stand Cole at the best of times but I think that he handled it with such professionalism as you could see how much it was affecting him.
I was just praying that it wasn't another Over The Edge moment.

| Latest statement on the King's health is that he's still in the cardiac care unit in a Montreal hospital, however he's awake and able to converse with family and friends so it looks like he's over the worst of it.
Also, is it just me or does Bret Hart look healthier every time he comes back to WWE? I remember when he first came back and he looked really rough, not truly surprising giving the crap the guy's been through, but on Monday he looked better than he has done for some time IMO.

Thought he looked terrible, but as you say not as bad as he did.

Say what you like about the guy in the ring, outside of it he does do a lot of good stuff
