Indy will choke IMHO its happened before and it will happen again!!!

In the NFC it's NO or Minnesota for me. The Cards might get a shot, but I'm not convinced by them (but I wasn't last year....). Other than that it's pretty average IMHO. It's December so bye bye Cowboys, Giants are looking poor despite last week, Philli have a shot I suppose and Green Bay have got plenty of talent, and they're bang in the wild card hunt.

AFC wise, it's 1 of 3 - Indy, NE or SD. I honestly like San Diego's chances. 3 big weeks coming up @ Dallas, Cinci and @ Tennessee, then finish with Washington at the Q. Come out of that 3-1 and I think that's the bye locked up. Rivers and co seem to have the hoodoo over the Colts, so they honestly don't scare me.

The fact that I'd love to see a Rivers vs Brees superbowl, means I'm going for SD vs NO. What a dream! Also a replay of the Wembley game last year.

We have the defence to do so and the offence to do so with sacks happening increasingly less, more balance and winning in the process. I think we could match anybody point for point. Our achilles heel is special teams, which is terrible(See the Vikings game for details) and penalties.

I think NO are going to be pretty difficult to beat though. They have an excellent team and are IMO better than the 18-1 Patriots by a clear distance, especially on D.

Vikes equally look good but i fancy they will fade and an AP fumble to cost them a play-off game.

I'll go for the Saints (other than us) in the NFC

Patriots are looking shaky and unless Bill can get his hands on a new Sony Digicam, then i can see them exiting wildcard round.

Jags, i'd love to see them do it, and they can, but they are far to inconsistent.

Indy are resting players from next week. That will be a bad move and lose momentum.

Well, 5 left in the 3rd and the Steelers are gettin whipped by a team who's QB can't pass more than 5 yds. Ben has been sacked 6 times and although the scores only 13-3 the Steelers aren't in the game. I reckon this is the final nail I'm the Steelers 2009 coffin.

I can see you guys picking up another win before the end of the season. Other than possibly the final game against SF, I can't see us winning another one at all and reckon that we'll be picking at number 1.

Either way the Rams will go QB and the Bucs will get Suh.

I want Gerhart for back-up to Grant but that will be in a later round. We have to go OT in the first round.

I'm not so sure. We have next to no pass rush and Suh would be an immediate upgrade to our defensive line and help our defense across the board. It wouldn't surprise me at all if we picked Suh in April. We obviously do need a franchise QB but there's weaknesses throughout the team that need addressing.

How is your D looking with Spags in charge.

Any team with the first pick has multiple holes to fill. Suh would be good for anybody but is it really likely you'll spend so much money on D-Line after spending it on Long two years ago and was it Smith last year.

If the franchise QB is there then i think you taken them.

How is the #1 pick decided upon? We are both 1-11 with pretty much identical stats across the board so what tiebreaker is used to split us?

I have no idea what the tie breaker is. Didn't they coin toss a year or two ago between Tampa and Kansas City?

so with Cleveland getting the W it'll be

Tiebreakers are determined by these things in order:

1. Previous season strength of schedule.
2. Dvision and conference records.
3. Coin toss.

I have read views from a couple of places saying that people have expressed doubts over whether any of the QB's going into the draft are actually worthy of a top 5 pick.

The only thing that would worry me about picking Suh is our recent history of picking 1st round defensive tackles who turned out to be busts, like Jimmy Kennedy, Damione Lewis and you could even argue Ryan Pickett who was garbage until his contract year.

I know that. Jason Smith from Baylor. Three succesive line players in three years with so much money invested would IMO be too much.


I agree about the QB's not being top 5 material, and the ones coming out are so close together in terms of talent. I think Clausen is the best, but the rest are pretty close so you could maybe trade down, but it is really difficult to trade from first pick.

Pickett has been good for us. He is a pretty good NT.

Maybe its just the Raiders players/coaching staff that are garbage on not helping his development or maybe he is just a flat out bust either way with proper coaching he may be a servicable backup in the NFL but thats about it from what I have seen, but not on the cash hes on now its just ludicrous
