When someone was bitching about SA hosting the World Cup I did a little digging to see what the attendances were like for the Euro we hosted. From memory our European Cup tournament was the best attended there had been.

That fact, along with the fact that we could host a World Cup right now with the stadia we have, should mean England will get it.

According to the rumours we got less votes than Holland/Belgium. You have to be ****ing joking. Their biggest stadium is only 55,000 and the rest are 35,000 max. For a World Cup in Europe?

How long will be before Panorama will be blamed?

Personally, I'm really surprised by this. Everything seemed in our favour, the stadia, the infastructure of the country. The bid itself seemed really good too, the presentations all seemed spot on. Will Russia be ready to host a major tournament? Stadia, rail network, airports?
