Errrrm, no.

World Cup Lite, and a fine example of the ICC finding a competition to fill a gap in the calendar when elite players should be resting (see also the World T20).

It should be better than the World Cup, as there is no filler and it has a sensible format, however you can tell plenty of the teams don't take it that seriously.

If they must persist with a "Champions Trophy", along with World Cup and T20 World Cups maybe they should restrict it to the top four ranked nations.
