| He did well in his first outing yesterday. Looks to be more to come when he gets match fit and fully cohesive with the team. Thought he did well to assist Wardle for his try, first to get to the ball with a few Kr players hanging round then to get the offload off. Also pinning Lewis into touch. I think his versatility playing prop and 2nd row will mean he starts most games off the bench. Would like to see us rest Farrell one game and see how Nsemba and Walters go at 2nd row

| I see Walters & Junior as the future for our 2nd row (hopefully for years to come). Exciting times.

| Love Faz to bits ,but the thought of Walters & Nsemba in the second row must strike fear into the opposition.

| Nsemba’s work rate is amazing he left a few kr player on the deck with his carries and that line he ran to score the try you could see a mile off but the problem is you can’t stop it. Only criticism is he was caught offside a few times yesterday but imagine that was down to his putting himself about in defence. It’s been said before but Walter is a giant can’t wait for him and Leeming to link up again.

| Good explanation from Peet as to why Walters got picked for the bench.
Added versatility, 3 props on the bench is overkill, especially when Thompson and probably Havard could do 80 mins.
I always think about injury cover have Walters on the bench means….
If a props goes down he can do a spell at prop easily.
If a second rower goes down obviously that’s his preferred position.
If a centre gets injured, Farrell can go there and Walters into the backrow.
If a winger gets injured, a centre can go to the wing, Farrell to centre, Walters to back row.
He should keep that 4th bench spot IMO.

| I think that’s our best and most balanced 17 that played yesterday, certainly at the minute. It covers a lot of bases and has real power and impact coming from the bench. We have probably 5 first team props sitting outside that 17 at the moment but one would and should need to smash the door down to get back in and in turn somebody in that 17 will need to drop their current level.

| Walters in the 17 provides more flexibility and obviously covers us in case of a second row or even centre injury. In a big game still in the balance though I don't know if he comes into play atm. I suspected Nsemba would be better off this year in short bursts off the bench but he seems to be coping very well with longer minutes. He really does have the potential to become one of the world's best second rowers - seems destined for the NRL. We just have to hope it won't be soon.

He's already far better than KPP was at the same stage of development.
Edit - thought you were referring to Nsemba.

KPP isn't pulling up any trees in the NRL; I wonder how long he'll last.

Disagree with you there. From what I've seen he's played well, certainly in an attacking sense. Matty Johns made a point of singling him out for praise a couple of weeks ago on his show.

| Well I disagree, Stu. I've watched every Knights game this season, and I swear to God, of the 17 starting players, I'd bet the house he has less touches than any other player. They attack largely down his (left) flank, but the big carries are always Marzhew and Best; KPP hardly gets involved. From time to time Hastings will give him the ball, and he'll make a few metres, and if an opponent comes his way, he'll tackle him. But compare his match impact to Tyson Frizell, or whoever is playing on the other side, and you'll soon see the difference.

I've heard him talked about as possibly their best player so far this season. Seems he's doing very well.
I wasn't even a big fan of him here.

| He's doing fine. I'm sure he was their MOM a few weeks back, complete with a barnstorming run that lead to a try too
[urlhttps://www.loverugbyleague.com/post/brits-down-under-pearce-paul-carves-up-smithies-top-tackler-scotland-international-makes-nrl-debut[/url
Quote It was Pearce-Paul’s best performance to date in the NRL, and was unlucky to be on the losing side as the Knights went down to a narrow defeat against the Roosters. The towering England international played the full 80 minutes, making 153 metres from 13 carries, including 13 hit ups, as well as making 39 tackles in defence. A mammoth display from the former Wigan Warriors forward.'"

| All I've heard has been complimentary as well tbh. I saw a couple of his early games and he was excellent and since then I've checked his game stats and they've been good, especially in defence where he seems to be working his backside off. He's doing a lot better than I would've expected this early in to his time in a new country/league.

| I always wondered/worried if KPP would get to where he should, seemed to lack a bit of heart when he first got going at Wigan and even when he signed for the Knights I had my doubts about him making it. But the back end of last season he was a monster and he's carried that form on, fair play to him.
Nsemba though, some replacement! All very depressing IMO.

| I think all the Brits down under this year have done well that have had a chance.
I watched an interview/podcast with Will Pryce last week and he is absolutely loving it and theres no way he is coming back anytime soon.
He mentioned having a trial at Saints as a youngster and they didn't want him. But he said himself until he was 17/18 he wasn't very good (his words)
I think he will get a few games next year and then we will see if he is good enough or if he will be coming to SL .
I think wee expect too much too soon sometimes

Very challenging for a playmaker. Hope he gets his chance in time but its no surprise that he isn't making the first team squad at the moment. Both his defence and general decision making would need to improve.

He mentioned the plan was to get 1 NRL game this season why he worked on his defence and learning their systems. Next season it was then down to him prove his worth.
He came across really well and level headed and seemed delighted with how it was going.
He told a story about being on a team bonding session and he ordered food as he was starving as the waiter put his food in front of him Tyson Frizell poured a full beer over it as eating isnt allowed when they are out on the ale. He said he was gutted but found it funny and it sounded like Frizell and his family have took him under their wing to help him settle in
