| Won't be complaining too much if we struggle in this one - history tells you the game after the WCC is challenging regardless of result. I expect us to be flat - hopefully we might have enough to get the points. Wouldn't be surprised if a couple of others are rested alongside Cooper and Leeming.

| I'm hoping we don't make the mistake of taking any risks. It's just 2 points at the end of the day and not the end of the world if we don't get them.

| You wonder is Miski might get a rest. Feels like he was rushed back a little and now might be a good time to just let him have a week off (presume he'd be quite keen to play at London). Presuming Ellis and Byrne are both fully ready, I'd go-
Field
Eckersley Keighran Wardle Marshall
French Smith
Byrne O'Neill Thompson
Isa Farrell Ellis
subs
Mago Dupree Hill Forber
It feels like it could be a grind this one and if we can get any sort of win that'll do.

| Peet has confirmed-
Forber will play
Leeming out for 2-3 weeks
Cooper has hurt his knee but they’re not sure of the severity yet (fingers crossed for the guy).

In regards to the grind, I think we should backup for this game. I know it's early in the season, but it's always good prep for later on when big games come consecutively.
If we're looking at resting, then London might be a better option. Also depends on how we land in the CC.

Id go along with this
By all means rest players with injuries but the lads should be buzzing after Saturday so why not keep that momentum going

| Cooper managed to play on after the initial injury which I’m hoping is a good sign. Hopefully he can catch a break.

Well he wouldn't have been able to play on or walk around at the end if it was as bad as last time. Hopefully a relatively minor one.

| I seem to recall seeing him on the replay discussing it on the touchline and rubbing/pointing to the inside of his knee. If that’s the case isn’t that your MCL, rather than your ACL? Not 100% sure but I know injuring your MCL is usually the better one of the two.

It won’t be an ACL injury unless Coops is a superman. I thought the injury was at the back of the knee but I could be wrong.

| Good performance by the lads there. Considering the shift we put in last week we were flying at times that edge with Miski, Keighran and French is dangerous. Adding Leeming and Walter as offload option later in the year is going to tasty

| Won the game in the first 20 then coasted for the next hour in 2nd gear, occasionally clicking into 3rd when a very poor Giants got within a couple of scores.
Job done, and a professional performance after last weeks effort but all a bit “meh” tonight (understandably) after last week.
A game that won’t live long in the memory and look forward to next week.

| Well played Wigan to back up - some solid attacking structures which carved them open early and then it was 2nd gear from then onwards. Thompson playing an hour was encouraging - if he can put together a run of games he'll go really well for us.
Huddersfield are an insomnia cure. Always have been. Jake Connor is just atrocious and Ian Watson is bordering on delusional these days.

| Thought Luke Thompson ran very well all game. Encouraging
Also Forber showed some quality with the setup for Dupree.
Job done. 2 points. All about recovery for the next game.

| Well they say refereeing performances even themselves out eventually... We've certainly got our comeuppance for any decisions that went our way last week.
Absolutely horror show by the guy in the middle. Seemed like if Hudds complained, they'd get the decision. How in the world is Keirghan getting 10 for throwing a ball away, but Swift isn't for a late shot on Faz? Which one of the two has the potential to be the most dangerous?
Really soured the night & kept the game closer than it had any right to be.

| Job done performance. It felt like we won by 14 points, playing in a low gear and we could’ve raised it as and when needed.
The two centres were strong, Marshall looks set for a big scoring season, Thompson played well, Chan showed promise, as did Forber when he came on and nobody seemed to get injured (any word on why Byrne didn’t play?).

| Take the two and move on, always an awful game, can’t imagine many will want to watch that back.
Positives good to see Thompson come through unscathed with plenty of minutes in the tank

I think that's a bit harsh. We scored some nice tries, looked a threat in attack, and despite a few defensive lapses, with a far from full-strength pack, we were always comfortably in charge. Chan and Forber can be pleased with their efforts, and Dupree looks a great acquisition. Ellis MotM for me. Again. I don't think many will think it wasn't worth a fiver.

They suck the life out of the game, fair play to the Hudds fans who watch that every game, hope we only charged their fans a fiver

| Stepped up when needed in that game,Ellis great again,Marshy has already been said, looks to having a very good season but still goes under the radar a bit,not many wingers out there (if any) better than the lad.Potential banana skin this one but we did a job all the team did what they had to do ,thought Smith kicked well again, looking like a strong season again.
Fair play to the small band of Hudds fans,Davy must think what can he do to get more Hudds fans to go to the games as it seems a losing battle sometimes,I think if they won the GF they wouldnt get much more to attend.

We should charge them £60 each to make up for that continuously abysmal following. How long are we going to have to suffer Huddersfield in SL? They are the definition of a club propped up by a rich backer.

| Taking last week into consideration I thought we were pretty good. Effectively tied the game up in the first quarter and coasted through the rest.
Big shifts from Ellis and O’Neil who I thought was mom.
I was a bit worried about Field at times, thought he looked as though he was struggling a bit and was waiting for him to pull up. Hopefully any niggles will get a rest next week.

I don’t mind them being in SL because I like Ken Davy and applaud him putting the money in year after year even though the crowds are low. I wonder what has happened I know they had their purple patch around the time Danny Brought was there finishing in the top 4, have fans dropped off with them always coming up short? I do hope they could turn it around and bring fans through the door as they have good foundations; decent stadium, decent squad, owner willing to invest
